If you hate to have people stopping and looking at you when you drive by, move on to another listing. Well, if you are like most of us and just love to turn heads as your car thumps and shakes and gives off that blower sounding Pete Jackson gear drive whine, then keep on reading. Freshly painted a kind of metallic copper, the car commands attention anyway. The sound of the car stops them in their tracks. I have been unable to find any rust anywhere on or under this car. The front end is all new, the re-built 383 stroker motor with 30 over flat top pistons, Crane cam, new heads, etc. produces 415 to 430 horsepower. A re-built 400 turbo automatic with 3,200 stall converter and shift kit connected to a Ford 9 inch posi rear makes the right combination for a trip to your local cruise in. The headers are connected to a set of flowmasters, the front has 3" dropped spindles, with adjustable coil springs in the rear. The car features new seatcovers, carpet, headliner, and door panels. The lights, signals, horn, heater, and wipers work. The fuel gauge just quit but I should be able to fix it. The speedometer works, but is inaccurate probably because of the rear gears and/or big rear tires. No other gauges are connected. The brakes stop good, but could use a bleed. The cowl hood is steel, not some cheap glass unit, and the rear is mini tubbed. Lots of chrome under the hood makes the engine look as good as it sounds. If you have less than 3 feedback you MUST e-mail your name and number so I can call you BEFORE you bid or your bid may be cancelled. If you want to check on auto transporters, I recommend Jane at Ray's Auto transport 301/483-7978 dieselgal@aol.com or Michael at My Transport Company 810/397-0261 mytransportco@msn.com Car is located at zip code 44240 On Nov-01-09 at 08:15:54 PST, seller added the following information: I can't seem to locate the paint code, but the color is Cognac - I believe it is a 1986 Isuzu color. The car was formerly House of Kolors Rootbeer and I tried to match it as close as possible since I liked it that color but it was old and faded. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
