Nice 52 chevy truck with 1954 235ci 6cyl and 3spd on column. Most of the truck has recently been refurbished. New paint, new wiring, fuel tank, carb, interior pieces, emblems, most weatherstrip, and other odds and ins. Truck runs and drives good. I live in a small town and drive it here some, but not too far. Im not sure if the drivetrain has been rebuilt and it does have some leaks. Truck isn't perfect but is a very nice driver that is a definant head turner. Has refinshed old barn wood floor. On Nov-04-09 at 19:50:24 PST, seller added the following information: A few more things about the truck. It's a half ton... Things that dont work are- parking brake(needs new cable), speedometer, heater, wipers, interior light and gas gauge should work but aren't hooked up. These should all be pretty simple fixes... The engine bay has obviously not been refurbished or painted... The grille and bumpers are painted, not chrome. This being an old truck, there is some plastic filler here and there, but not in excess. A very thin magnet will stick almost everywhere on the truck... The tailgate has seen it's better days and doesn't want to fit exactly right... The only pictures I forgot to take are of the inside kick panels on each side of cab. They have rusted where they meet the inner fender and is a very common thing on these trucks... As I've mentioned before, the paint is not that great and I'm not real happy with it. I was afraid it couldn't be seen very well in the pics, but you should be able to see what I mean, ecspecially on the front driver's fender. It is thin in spots and you can see lighter spots here and there, and there are a few photos of some runs on the bed... The tires arent the greatest and could use replacing. The rears have some dry rot. There are 15inch wheels on front and 16's on the back... The brakes work good, but could probably use some attention if going too far... When driving in high gear(3rd) I rest my hand on the shifter because it sometimes jumps out to neutral. No big deal tho. This is common on these trucks and I've been told it's probably in the linkage... You can see in the new pics the rust spots on the rear fenders, the spot that rubs when the driver's door is opened(may be solved with hinge adjustment or replacement), the paint runs on the bed, the rust in the tailgate, and so on... The vent windows nor windshield have been replaced and have a few cracks in them that you should be able to see in the pics... The only things not included that are in the pics is the breather sitting on the carb and the two trim rings... I can't think of anything else at this time. This is an old truck and i don't claim for it to be a show truck. If so, my buyitnow would be closer to $18,000! But I do want you to understand what you are bidding on and would welcome anyone to come take a look before bidding.
