1946 CHEVROELT ½ Ton

Well, here you have it, “the one and only.” That’s the way I feel almost! This has to be one of the more rare classics for the true collector. I only say these things because, as you may know the trucks built prior to 1947 have become far and few. As most classic truck people know, these trucks cannot be built out of a magazine like the later years. These trucks must be acquired in good shape and the rest must be found one piece at a time unless your lucky enough to find one complete. This truck is all original but has been restored to show like a true show truck should. The truck spent its entire life indoors, I believe. The truck has no rust and shows to have never had any. The body is in wonderful condition and the panels line up, as they should. The paint is also just as nice with no issues and has the true show vehicle shine.  The mechanical side of the truck is also in wonderful condition with all the factory equipment from the pull choke to the pull throttle. It’s all there, and all functional. There is even an original heater with the original glow switch that sets the temperature. The windshield works as it should and seals as tight as a glove.  There is nothing that has been overlooked or missed during the restoration.
If your looking for something totally unique and you want it to be trouble free, this is the classic for you. This is a turnkey push button start, no matter if it ‘s 40 degrees or 100. The truck will not let you down.  Just instant smiles and lots of looks, is all you’ll get out of this truck. I would mention the bed is also very functional and can be used to haul home all the trophies. One last thing, the final gear has been changed to 3:55.1 to allow the truck to cruise at 70MPH with ease.

I only will ask, if you have a question, please ask before you bid. The truck is being sold with a low reserve type auction and will sell to the highest bidder. The reserve will not be disclosed until met. The truck can be seen at anytime, which I suggest that to any real bidder. If there is any reason that the bidder cannot view the truck prior to bidding, I suggest a third party evaluation. I do have the feedback to prove my reputation as an honest seller if any of the above wont work.

Please make sure the funds are ready at time of auction end. Also, please make sure if there is another person that will need to be involved in the buying decision, example: wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, preacher, rabbi, or palm reader, that they are asked.

Good luck and enjoy the pictures....
