Vehicle History Report Summary for 1998 Chevrolet S-10 envoy custom
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Ok heres the deal.. its titled as a 98 s10. The trucks wiring, front
end, and front half of the interior is from a 98 envoy. the rear doors
are from a crew cab s10, and the extd cab portion and bed are from the 98 s10. This truck rides really nice, and gets looks. it will need some work, but you could drive it just how it is.. however i suggest a paint job... i consider this a project where the hard work is done for you, it just needs minor details worked out and it will be a great truck to drive daily... it could also make a great work truck since it has a huge rear interior, perfect for tools or whatnot, and not to mention it has a bed too -Power heated leather seats -Power locks -Power windows -Power sunroof -Power folding mirrors -Auto 4x4 - 4.3 v6 -Automatic -Envoy hid headlights -custom built two piece drivshaft from a 2wd s10 (professionaly built and balanced) -envoy roof rack shortned to fit -3 inch body lift -5th door (etx cab 3rd door) -tonneau cover If your confused at what your looking at its a envoy shell with a extd cab s10 portion welded on with rear crew cab doors, and then placed on a stretched s10 frame. I do collison work for a living, so this things is built just how gm would have built it.. all factory cab bracing has been used and modified and welded just how the factory would. no chance of sagging or frame bending. build pics here.. from start to finish its all there..... http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f30/pr...td-cab-339704/ here are tings that need to be finished up: -clock spring in steering wheel needs to be changed.. (included) -check engine light is on.. scanned it and seems to be the gas cap.. -ebrake needs to be hooked up and a cable made.. -headliner needs to be finished, included what is needed to finish it, but not actual material.. -misc interior things.. basically two door sills need to be made... and carpet is needed, and the interior is about 3 different colors -the rockers where they were spliced together need body work still... -rear seat is rigged in there and not exactly safe... lol (it was just temporary) -rear window needs to be pulled and resealed. -roof jams weather stripping needs to be re double sided taped on.. (water leaks in as of now with out them) lots of time and work has gone into this, hard work is done for you... Serious buyers only! no tire kickers! On Nov-03-09 at 14:41:15 PST, seller added the following information: forgot to add On Nov-04-09 at 04:30:59 PST, seller added the following information: ok so according to ebay i can not accept trades.. so keep that in mind..... On Nov-08-09 at 05:44:53 PST, seller added the following information: it has come to my attention that i left a few things out........again lol
-motor is a 4.3 v6 and it has aproximantly 120k on it, (oddly relatively the same amount as the s10 its self)it was pulled from another running s10, prior to assembling the truck being bidded on.. since its been swapped in the current truck i have put aproximintly 5-6k on the motor and it runs awesome. runs strong and has no problems... check engine light is on, the code is pointing to the gas cap, so it should be a simple fix. i have taken it on numerous trips hours away and havent had any problems.. sorry for not listing any specifics on the motor, i figured people would be more concerned about the body, rather then the drivetrain, guess i had overlooked that.
-the instrument cluster is from the envoy so it will read 150K, however the actual s10 has 120k and that cluster is included too.. i prefered the envoy cluster becuase of the look.. - this is a project, it is not 100% finished, however it runs and drives fine, ive had no problems with it... but being that its a used vehicle its sold as is.. -im throwing in a bunch of s10 parts with this too, if the buyer is intrested in them....
good luck bidding!!!!!!!!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
