Up for auction is a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado LT CrewCab 2wd with 7061 actual miles. This truck has front end damage and will carry a salvage title. It Black Granite Metallic with black leather interior and has chrome 20" wheels. The engine is a 5.3 V8 and it has an automatic transmission. This is a hard loaded truck, the owners insurance company paid out $33,000 on it. The engine starts, no evidence of any mechanical damage. It is a very eye appealing truck and stands out on the lot.
This truck was hit on the end of the left frame rail. It will need a frame or frame section and a complete front cap and drivers airbag. Used frames can be found for around $1,000. The rest of the truck is in great condition and it will look new again when refinished. The door gaps are good, no buckles in the roof and the paintwork looks new besides the damaged front end.
Truck has a lot of eye appeal and will be easy to resell or be a good one to keep and drive. Due to the frame damage the left front wheel is back, to help it load we can mount a smaller wheel and tire to make the vehicle lot drive. All of the front end pieces can be bought aftermarket through keystone or a similar company and car-part.com and ebay are a good place to look for used parts.
