You are bidding on a 1985 Chevy Silverado. This truck has a skyjacker suspension lift, after market shock towers, cross over steering, divorce transfer case, the tires are 18x39.5 16.5 boggers. The truck does drive straight on the road. Has custom aluminum wheels. Custom axels but can not remember gear ratio. Headers with flow master exhaust. NO RUST! Fender wells have been lightly cut because it had bushwacker fender flairs on it, the holes are still on the fenders from where the flairs were so if you order new bushwacker flairs the holes are already there for fast mounting. Those are gone now. The truck is very straight. Front and rear bumper are super straight, has custom taillights. It aslo has exteded brake lines.THIS TRUCK WAS DONE THE RIGHT WAY, THERE WAS A TON OF MONEY DUMPED IN THIS TRUCK AT ONE TIME. Small block motor with automatic transmisson with a 700R4. Motor runs really strong, has great oil pressure. Transmission modulator is BAD. Sucks transmisson fluid into the motor and makes it smoke. Tranny works great and shifts fine. Transmission modulator is like a $20 part. When you pull the vaccum line off the transmisson, transmisson fluid drips out of it. Easy fix. I have too many projects right now and just do not have time for this truck anymore. This truck also has power locks and windows. It is fully loaded.As you can see in the pictures i have all kinds of documentation with this truck. This truck has been a nevada truck it's whole life, it was bought from Hallman Chevrolet at 300 kietzke lane reno,nv in 1985. Truck has never left nevada. Have copy of all original options, all the original dealer warranties, pre delivery inspection paperwork, original owners manual, fuel economy window sticker, and a lot more. This truck was supposivly on the front of a magazine maybe someone out there might know what magazine it was on. I bought the truck about a year ago and every where I go people tell me "don't you know that truck was on the front of a 4 wheel drive magazine" I always laugh and tell them parked on top of a magazine doesn't mean you were on the front cover and she ain't as pretty as she used to be so it don't really matter if she was in a magazine or not. The truck has not been washed as you can see in the pictures in the last year or more so it will probably clean up very nicely.

I had a question if there is any warranty, no there is no warranty on a 1985 chevy pick up. It's 10 year 10,000 mile warranty is up. If you look in the ebay warranty it says no warranty exists. Which means no warranties, as is, where is, I have tried to describe the vehicle to the best of my ability so again any questions please ask. Once again thank you and keep the questions coming.

i had more requests for transfer case photos so here you go and check em out. Had question if all glass was good. Windshield does have 1 crack but another windshield will be going with the truck that has no cracks. There are other parts that will go with the truck since I have my own little personal junkyard and since i'm letting the truck go i won't need the parts anymore.

people are asking why i would be getting rid of the truck, the reason is that I hand built my own 4x4 truck. I will post a picture of the truck so you will see that I moved on and that is why i don't need this truck anymore.

People also asked if it is able to be driven down the road and yes I have done 85 mph no problem but it does smoke because of the modulator so recommended to trailer home till fixed. I know it's the modulator because i have uncapped the headers before and disconnected the transmisson modulator and it stopped smoking. But there is transmisson fluid in the pipes so it will still take a couple days for the fluid to burn off and stop smoking after it is fixed. I had someone call me on the truck, and asked how straight the body is. Like I said there are holes drilled for the bushwacker fender flairs, and the trucks does have it's usual little door dents and dings and little paint chips in and there. This is not a new 2010 edition it is a 1985 everyday driver. I had offers on this truck and was gonna part it out at one time, I had a offer for $1500 for just the cab less then 2 months ago since i was originally going to use the undercarriage for the truck that i built. i ended up using a different chassis because I just couldn't see cutting this truck apart. I listed it for 2750 because of the undercarriage. Cab corners are solid, floors are solid, bed is solid, fenders are solid, hood is solid. There is zero rot in this truck. Rocker panels are solid, I did find a few very small rust bubbles on the bottom of the drivers door at the back of the door, smaller than a penny or dime. I'm 99% sure it's the original paint on the truck. That was an original gm paint scheme. I know an old timer in town that has one that is just a standard 4 wheel drive that has the same paint scheme and he bought it new and it was still the original paint. I had a question from someone who called wondering if the the doors sagged from people grabbing on to get in the truck. No the doors do not sag at all and the hinges are perfectly tight. I had someone email me asking what kind of master cylinder it had. It has hydrastatic master cylinder. It's the best brake system for these trucks. Thes are made for 2 and 3 ton trucks, It helps the truck stop very smoth.

Like I said whom ever built this truck did it right and didn't under cut anything.
