Vehicle History Report Summary for 1999 Chevrolet Tracker
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I purchased this vehicle with 52103 miles on it. I have a hard top on the front and a soft top on the rear. The soft front top and hard rear top have never been used. The tires are new Uniroyal having been installed at 65490 miles. The transmission was rebuilt by AAMCO at 61922 miles. The body is in excellent condition; no rust or corrosion. It has never been driven off-road or in ice or snow since I have had it. It had been hit in the right front before I got it, but the repair is good and barely perceptible. I also have a complete set of Factory Service Manuals for it and several boxes of spare parts (radio, headlight parts, etc). It has idled rough since I got it, but runs well at any speed. The EPA mileage spec is 22/26; I was getting a combined mileage of about 27 until recently. Occasionally the Check Engine light comes on and the OBD meter says it is the EGR. According to several posts on a Tracker forum site this is not an uncommon problem and is solved by removing the EGR valve and cleaning the passages in the block. I believe that if that is done the mileage will go back up and possibly the idle will smooth out. I have all of the maintainence and gas usage records since I have had it. Other features include: Air Conditioning (works fine), K&N Air filter, Class III Trailer Hitch (never used) with wiring harness, Daylight Running Lights, Automatic headlights, Deer repellers, Bottles of special BesTop cleaner, Bottle of special wax to restore black color to vinyl bumpers and trim, a cigarette lighter and a 12V power outlet, both front seats recline and the rear seat folds up for additional cargo space, Locking gas cap(for when gas goes back up to $4 a gallon). The battery was new at 63783 miles. The spark plugs have also been replaced with Bosch Platinum at 52775 miles. The right rear wheel grease seal was replaced at 52386 miles and the Engine rear main bearing seal at 52700 miles. Both differential fluids were replaced at 58695 miles and the serpentine belt at 65083 miles. The interior is in good condition with just a small cigarette burn hole in the back seat. I have a vinyl nose guard on it and the entire vehicle has been waxed with a Teflon wax. It also has a tire cover on the spare tire, which is in fine condition. Everything works on the vehicle. It has been stored under cover since I have had it. Ivanhoe, NC is in the southeast corner of NC, near Wilmington. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
