This auction is for a PAIR of fully assembled Strike Force small block Chevy aluminum cylinder heads finish machined and assembled by PERFORMANCE ENGINE AND MACHINE with quality PBM and Erson components. The intake roof has been raised for enhanced airflow in a 23 degree head. Intake runner volume is 200cc, combustion chamber volume is 64cc with your choice of STRAIGHT or ANGLE spark plugs. The heads have an extra thick deck, hardened intake and exhaust seats with manganese bronze valve guides. Heads are complete with your choice of PBM RACE SERIES 2.055 or 2.02 stainless steel intake and 1.60 exhaust valves. Assembled with K30 valve train kit including PBM steel retainers, PBM 7 degree locks, PBM positive steel jacketed viton valve seals, PBM 3/8 screw in studs and PBM 5/16 guide plates, 1.260 diameter Erson single valve springs with dampers having 100lbs @ 1.730. This combination will allow up to a .525" lift camshaft and also allows you to use stock rocker arms and standard length pushrods.

These heads are finish machined, cleaned and assembled by us at our shop complete and are ready for installation!!

Springs and retainers can be upgraded for an additional charge to match your cam and application.

K32 kit with 1.26 dia. single valve springs having 110lbs@1.800 and +.100 Race series valves allowing hyd. flat tappet cams to .600 lift add $10.00USD

K31 kit with 1.46 dia. single valve springs having 120lbs@1.800, chrome moly retainers and +.100 Race series valves allowing hyd. flat tappet cams to .600 lift add $65.00USD

K34 kit with double 1.460 dia. valve springs having 135lbs@1.800, chrome moly retainers and +.100 Race series valves and 7/16 rocker studs for mech. flat tappet or hyd. roller cams up to .600 lift add $85.00USD

K38 kit with double 1.500 dia. valve springs having 205lbs@1.850, chrome moly retainers and +.100 Race series valves and 7/16 rocker studs for mech. roller cams up to .670 lift add $100.00USD

K385 kit with double 1.550 dia. valve springs having 220lbs@1.950, chrome moly retainers with 10 deg. machined locks, +.200 Competition series valves and 7/16 rocker studs for mech. roller cams up to .720 lift and 7/16 rocker studs add $180.00USD

The heads will require Felpro 1205 intake gaskets, Felpro 1444 exhaust gaskets, Suitable head gasket and head bolts for aluminum heads along with pushrods compatible with guide plates. Champion RC12YC Spark plugs or equivalent should be used.

A: Actually the heads will make a pretty big difference on a 73 motor, The 64cc combustion chambers will raise the compression and the flow will be much better than stock heads. I would go with a 2.02/1.6 valve combination. ... Continue reading
