One NEW old stock GM #26038684 rear axle fitting left or right hand on the 1994 1995 1996 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 police package with rear disc brakes. The GM website shows the axle to sell for $328.82. It is surplus from my local Harris Co. Tx Sheriffs Dept..their loss is our gain. The axle weighs 20 pounds. Figure $20 for Fedex ground. If it is more I will pay the difference to the lower 48. Ak/Hi to pay actual shipping cost. This axle may also fit SOME other GM full size cars 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996. Variations exist per gear ratio and brakes. Experience tells me the aftermarket suppliers post mis-information in their catalogs. The ONLY way to tell if this axle is correct for your non police car is to contact your local GM dealer with your serial number and confirm you require a #26038684.
