With the automotive industry about to board the styling roller coaster of the late 1950's, Virgil Exner continued to make improvements to the 300 Series in both mechanical engineering and contemporary styling. By 1960, styling excess were being toned down and refined and the 300 cars began displaying these changes with sophistication. However, what the 300's of the 1960's were most recognized for was their awesome power.  

This 1962 Chrysler 300H Coupe is 1 of 435 built with only @155 still in existence documented by the Chrysler 300 Club. This rust free all original car has 67,000 miles from new undergoing a professional ground up restoration including paint, interior, chrome, and mechanics. It retains its original numbers matching 413 engine with dual in-line 4 barrel carburetors producing 380 horsepower. The 300H offered a plethora of luxurious appointments including Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Sport Console, Leather Seats, and many other accoutrement's for the discerning buyer. Remarkable options are very evident in this car including Torqueflite push button automatic transmission, Air Conditioning including heater, Auto-Pilot speed control, Golden Touch tuner with rear speaker, Rear power antenna, Seat belts, Tinted glass (all windows), Stone shield and sill moldings, Remote control outside mirror, and a closed crankcase vent system.  A careful view of the trunk photos will reveal the original trunk matting.  

The big unseen option adding to the panache of this car is the 3.23 rear axle ratio resulting in a great highway cruiser and a car that can rocket off the line should the opportunity present itself to demonstrate the competency of this 300H. It drives as good as it looks.  All systems perform robustly and all gauges work as they should.
