Bang for the buck
Pretty good set of sockets for 305 bucks. There is a few sizes skipped here and there so read the list carefully mainly a few large and metric. Not all the shallow sockets are matched up with a deep counterpart. But still hard to beat what you get for what you pay. Craftsman sockets have served me as well as any of the expensive brands and it is a lot easier when one comes up lost.

If you like JUNK then buy this product
I have used Craftsman tools for 50 years. THIS SET IS JUNK. There is no way these sockets were made in the USA. Some of the sockets had the chrome pealing off. A couple the chrome was bubbling and will soon will be gone. Some the machining was not completed in the interior of the sockets. The add says "ALL THE SOCKETS CRAFTSMAN MAKES", untrue. I have sockets, spark plug sockets, that are not in this set. They may have the size but not the proper inner lining or machining. I have seen better quality sockets at Harbor Freight and wouldn't wast my money on them. I just spent $300.00 for sockets I wont even put in my Craftsman tool box. TOTAL JUNK Richard Tartaglia MA

Finally a set that contains EVERY size. No more Hunting for that ONE size you don't have, and a lifetime warranty to boot. All the tools a Pro will need, much less, us Shade Tree Bolt twisters and Grease Monkeys. Great Product.

Great value great price. I understand this is only socket but I wish it was shipped a little better. At least better bags. Half my sockets were loose in the bottom of the box. And the list of socket was torn to shreds when I got it so I still haven't been able to make sure they are all there. I would buy them again thou!

Craftsman 299-Piece Socket Set
Great selection of sockets at an excellent price. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the laser etching. One of the reasons I bought this set was that I was tired of straining to see the size markings on my old sets. The etching is clear on some sockets, while on others it's barely visible. It would also be nice if the etched marking aligned with the face of the square opening so that it would be easily visible when placed in a socket tray. It seems they were just done in random orientation.
