The buyer pays for all shipping.

Blue Sky Gear ships internationally (worldwide) . 

We will ship via two shipping methods thru Canada Post :

Regular Parcel (no insurance + cheaper)

Expedited Parcel (insurance included + a little more money)

If you choose to ship Regular Parcel, BSG will not be held responsible for lost or stolen goods while in transit, although this is extremely rare)

Expedited Parcel shipping includes insurance!  Shipping through this method includes a delivery confirmation number (not a tracking number).  PLEASE BE PATIENT.  Typical shipping time through Expedited Parcel is 5-10 business days in North America (longer overseas).  However, for reasons only known to Canada Post/USPS, the shipping time has been known to be longer.

We will ship through Puralator Courier (quicker + a tracking number), but it is more expensive.  Please let us know if you wish this method and would like a price quoted.

We do not charge "handling" fees.  The cost of shipping is set by Canada Post and includes the materials cost to ship (box, packing paper etc.) 

We will combine shipping costs if you purchase more than one item from Blue Sky gear.

Weighing in at only 3.56lbs, the ‘Charlie’ is small enough to fit in most flight bags, map pouches or cargo pockets and is also small enough to tuck conveniently under the seat in most aircraft. Every item included in this kit has been thoroughly tested and approved to insure it performs flawlessly when needed (we’ve even sharpened the knife!).

Section 602.61(1) of the Canadian Aviation Regulations state :

Subject to subsection (2), no person shall operate an aircraft over land unless there is carried on board survival equipment, sufficient for the survival on the ground of each person on board, given the geographical area, the season of the year and anticipated seasonal climatic variations, that provides the means for

(a) starting a fire;

(b) providing shelter;

(c) providing or purifying water; and

(d) visually signalling distress.

Simply contact us for a ‘User Survey / Replacement Form’, fill it out and return it along with what’s left of the kit and TSB report number.  Once this form and contents are    received, we will repack your kit, including replacement of all used items, free of charge*!  Repacks or alterations carried out by third parties are not authorized under this warranty, and will automatically cancel said warranty in its entirety

SURVIVAL KIT REGISTRATION :

Each Crashkit has a serial number which allows you to go to www.crashkit.ca and register your kit.  Kit registration allows for kit content expiration tracking.  After registering your kit, you will automatically be notified in the future via email when a component of your kit may be expiring and requires replacement.

Bidding :

• All sales are final and are not subject to cancellation.  Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay.

• If Buy-it-Now is accidentally hit twice, the buyer is responsible for the subsequent listing/final value fees charged by eBay.

• All items listed for sale are in stock and are ready to be shipped.  If you are looking for a product we have listed in the past but do not currently see it listed, please contact us as we will likely be getting new stock in soon.

• Please email us questions prior to bidding!  We'll be happy to answer all of your questions concerning the product.

Payment :

• Payment must be received within 7 business days of auction close. 

• We accept PAYPAL, certified cheques and money orders.

• If paying by certified cheque or money, the buyer must email BSG and advise this is their preferred payment method.

• Certified cheques and money orders MUST be negotiable in Canada. No exceptions.  If the bank will not accept the payment, you will be advised and the cheque or money will be sent back to you.

• If a certified cheque or money order is sent, please include your name, eBay ID, Item #, quantity and an accurate shipping address.  If the shipping information is incorrect, BSG will not be held responsible for shipping delays.

• If paying through Paypal e-cheque, BSG will not ship your item until the e-cheque has successfully cleared.  This typically takes 5 business days.

• If a personal cheque is sent, BSG will attempt to deposit it into our bank.   Cheques may be held for 21 business days before your item is shipped to ensure sufficient funds exist.  We reserve the right to refuse payment with a personal cheque at any time.

• Any cheques returned NSF will incur the bank NSF charges and you will be refused all subsequent sales through BSG.

• CANADIAN BIDDERS : Residents of Ontario will also have to add GST (7%) and PST (8%) to the winning bid.  All other Canadian Provinces must add only the GST (8%).  There is no tax on international purchases. 

Shipping :

• BSG ships worldwide.

• The shipping is paid by the buyer.

• BSG will ship out your items within 2 days of receiving payment.

• Most items will ship through one of two methods - Canada Post Regular Parcel (or Airmail) or Xpedited Parcel.  Xpedited parcel includes shipping insurance and Regular Parcel (Airmail) does not.

• The buyer will be contacted by email and will be advised of the shipping costs to their location.  Buyers can choose which shipping method they prefer. BSG cannot be held responsible for items lost by Canada Post/USPS if shipped through regular parcel.

• Xpedited Parcel has a delivery confirmation number.  It does not include a tracking number. 

• Regardless of the shipping method chosen, PLEASE BE PATIENT.  Typical shipping is between 5-10 business days.  Due to delays by Canada Post/USPS, this timeframe has occasionally been a day or two longer.  Please allow for a reasonable timeframe for your item to arrive before contacting BSG.

• BSG can also ship your item through Purolator, however this method is very expensive.  A quote can be provided if requested by the buyer.

• BSG does not charge handling fees.  The cost of shipping is set by Canada Post and includes the cost of the shipping materials (box, packing material etc)

• BSG will combine shipping on multiple items, saving you, the buyer, money.

Refunds and Warranties :

• All products sold are new and include manufacturer's warranties.

• If a product is found to be defective and is covered under the manufacturer's warranty, the product can be returned to BSG who will handle the warranty issues for the buyer.

• All sales are final and are not subject to cancellation.

• BSG will not accept returns without a Return Authorization Number.  Refunds will be issued after a Return Authorization Number is provided less the cost of the original shipping and a 15% restocking fee.

• All returns must be sent with the item in it's original condition.  Shrink wrapped items are non-returnable if the package has been opened eg. DVD's.

Feedback :

• Please leave feedback for us.  eBay lives and breathes by the consumer's confidence in a seller and the only way to show this is by leaving feedback.  Sellers also rely on the feedback left for buyers, by others, in the sale process.  We all love feedback!

• As not all buyers email to advise their package has arrived, BSG relies on feedback to determine if the shipment has arrived safe and sound.

• Feedback will be left for the buyer only after feedback has been left for BSG.  Unfortunately due to the very high number of non-feedback leaving buyers, BSG will only leave feedback for buyers that have the decency to leave feedback for BSG.

• Due to the high number of sales, BSG completes it's feedback twice a month - once in the middle and once at the end.

• Please do not leave negative feedback without first contacting BSG to attempt to resolve any issues that may arise.  Our number one priority is you, the consumer and we will make every attempt to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the buyer.

General :

• BSG's normal hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (eastern time).

• BSG makes every effort to respond quickly to your emails during the week.   Responses made to your emails received on a weekend or after hours may be delayed.
