A Weight Distribution Hitch applies leverage across the trailer tongue and tow vehicle, providing better control of your vehicle and trailer.  This more evenly distributes heavier loads on the trailer wheels and tow vehicle, resulting in better braking and steering control, and a more stable ride in general.
