HERE WE HAVE A 1973 HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER 1000CC. THE STORY GOES LIKE THIS .... BIKE IS CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING AND IS VERY CLOSE TO BEING FINISHED. I DROVE THIS BIKE FOR 8 YEARS AND IT NEVER LET ME OR OTHER RIDERS DOWN , STARTED WITH THE FIRST KICK AND RAN TIL YOU SHUT HER DOWN. THE MOTOR HAS JUST HAD THE REAR JUG REPLACED AND BORED OVER .020 AND NEW PISTIONS INSTALLED. MOTOR IS BACK TOGETHER AND READY TO TIME , WIRE AND RIDE. FRONT END IS HOMEMADE SPRINGER THAT IS REALLY COOL . EVERYWHERE I WENT PEOPLE WOULD GATHER ROUND TO CHECK IT OUT , EVEN WHEN i WAS RIDING WITH SOME OF OUR NEW CHOPPERS. I HAVE TWO SETS OF PIPES WHICH ARE BOTH LOUD . KICK ONLY SPRINGER FRONT, CHAIN DRIVE ,GEAR/ BRAKE ARE FLIP FLOPPED, S&S CARB , 2 REAR FENDERS , 1 WITH LEATHER WRAP AND THE OTHER BLACK WITH SISSY BAR. 2 LOOKS BOTH COOL. CHROME FORWARD CONTROLS. ALSO HAS BOLT ON HARDTAIL. EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN PICTURES IS INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. IT IS A NICE BIKE WHEN PUT ALL THE WAY BACK TOGETHER. I'M FORCED TO CLOSE MY SHOP AND SELLING SEVERAL BIKES . I NEVER INTENDED TO SELL THIS BIKE HOWEVER I HAVE NO CHOICE. PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS. WE CAN HELP WITH DELIVERY UP TO 700 MILES.
