This is a NEW COMPLETE K20A/K20Z1 RBC MANIFOLD INSTALL KIT with everything you need and prepared just for us K20A_ and K20Z1 owners (RSX Type-S, EP3 Civic Si & Type-R, JDM DC5 Integra Type-R). Jump into the install with full speed and don't look back at having the bottle neck you once had with the Stock (PRC/PRB) manifold. As we all know the RBC manifold comes from the latest & greatest Honda designed K-Series motors, in the Accord Euro Type-R & the '06+ Civic Si (K20Z3 engine, FG2 chassis). The PRB/PRC was made for space saving, and thus was a snail design for compactness. Now, that we all know that the RBC will fit our DC5 and EP3, that it's tried, tested, and true, it's time to start getting serious.
The K20A/K20Z1 RBC MANIFOLD INSTALL KIT simply installs right into your car. No need to go through the trouble and find a machine shop to do some scary cutting and grinding for you, this manifold has been prepared for you. Simply take off the rubber elbow off your CAI, take off the stock throttle body and manifold and then replace with the RBC Manifold, Karcepts adapter, supplied gaskets and vacuum line, then return your stock throttle body, and rubber elbow. [Note: If you don't own an Injen CAI, and need a rubber elbow for your Fujita or AEM CAI, please pm me (click "Ask seller a question")]. Once installed you are ready to begin playing on a level that no intake manifold could possibly compete with for the money. We've all heard of ITBs and their roughness at idle and difficulty to tune. We've all heard of the IPS/LHP manifold that still has of yet to get off the ground, and for HOW MUCH. Then there's the PRC ITR manifold. Well, for those that haven't tried a PRC manifold, and don't know, the '02 RSX tested, gained 6whp switching from the PRC to RBC, then 10whp doing an AF ratio street tune (15whp after dyno AF tune). Nevermind the others, lets get the real thing, and move on. As a COMPLETE INSTALL KIT this set is a complete factory idle, factory smoothness, easy to tune system that replaces the 02-06 RSX factory intake manifold, and the EP3 CTR factory intake manifold. This is THE INTAKE MANIFOLD that everyone has been talking about. We've test fitted this Install Kit on a 06 RSX Type-S and on a 02 RSX Type-S, the results were as follows:
06 RSX Type-S (w/K20Z1)
Modifications Prior to RBC: DC Sports Race Header (DCRH), and Fujita Cold Air Intake (CAI)

(Note: since it was on the dyno, it was ideal to do a 1hr A/F ratio tune thanks to K-Pro; the 13.2 A/F ratio was not ideal for power, a very rich 11.7 setting was necessary at 4600 rpms, and a slightly rich 12.9 setting at higher rpms)

WOW!! YOU SURE GET A LOT FOR YOUR MONEY, NOW DON'T YOU?!?! THAT'S RIGHT!!! Rest assured, meticulous attention to detail has been done to ensure only the best parts. The NEW OEM "RBC" MANIFOLD is from an '06 6-speed FG2 Civic Si, and has been PREPARED to work on the K20A2 CTR, 02-04 RSX Type-S, 05-06 RSX Type-S or K20A_/K20Z1 swap. Pictures on the before and after the preparation/modification are below. These manifolds+extras without the adapter retail for $272+tax ($251.76+11.31+5.08+3.88) NEW from the Dealership, or you can do your searching on the net and you'll find these for $250 unprepared/unmodified, and you'll have to find a local machine shop that will charge you about $50 to do for a job they don't know how/what to do. You'll also need the Karcepts adapter, which runs $60 for the basic Adapter, and $100 for the boost ported Adapter from Karcepts. The boost ported Adapter, like Karcepts offers for $100, is the one you are getting (with copper plugs & tefloned in). Not to mention you'll need to identify and locate the exact gaskets, vacuum line, and bolts needed. Everything is BRAND NEW. All the leg work, searching, and packaging has been done for you, all that is left is for you to INSTALL AND START RUNNING WITH IT! Total retail for the new parts is $100+$272, plus $50+ to pay for a good shop to modify it for you, equals a value of OVER $400. $400 is what you'll find, while my price is $299, giving you a discount of over $100 along with all the guarantees AND bells and whistles included.
SO, WHAT ABOUT THE K24 & K20Z3, WHAT IS NECESSARY FOR THESE MOTORS?
The K24 does not need the modification to the manifold as the K20A_ & K20Z1. You'll still need every other item. As for the K20Z3, your motor already has the RBC manifold, no need to change it from what you have. NOTE: IF YOU NEED THE INSTALL KIT FOR THE K24, AND DON'T NEED THE MANIFOLD MODIFICATION, PLEASE SPECIFY, WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BAD FITMENT ON THESE.
