FAQ's about Warranty...
I want to use my own mechanic to install your product, is this ok? Diesel Care is typically a wholesale
company, meaning that we primarily sell to resale shops. As such, our pricing and warranty policies are built
around this type of "business to business" transaction. While we cannot dictate to our customers whom they use
to install, we encourage you as a customer to use only certified diesel repair shops to perform repairs. Any issues
relative to installation are directly the responsibility of the purchaser and are not covered under our warranty
policy.
How long do I have to file a warranty claim? We need to be notified immediately of any potential failure of our
products. We cannot be responsible for any warranty of products where prior notification was not given.
I've had the product installed and the mechanic says it' still not right and wants to charge me to install
another unit, what do I do? Diesel Care has always maintained a "hassle free" warranty, meaning we, under
most conditions will send out a replacement part at the customers request, without having the opportunity to
examine for old unit in question. Many of these units are returned with no fault found, and are the result of
incorrect installation or miss diagnosis. We make it a policy to make every attempt to satisfy our obligations to our
customers, but we do not offer any reimbursement of removal/reinstallation of pumps purchased under a
wholesale basis, unless otherwise approved in advance, and with certain conditions and limitations applying. We
encourage each consumer to discuss these issues with your installer prior to purchase of our products.
