1969 Dodge Charger General Lee

1969 Dodge Charger -General Lee replica. Features a 440 Mopar performance, backed up by a Bowler built 727 transmission. This Charger runs beautifully and sounds even better then you can imagine. I honestly don't know the real mileage of the car. The odometer shows 1600 miles because the dashboard and all of the gauges were replaced.

I bought this car in 2002 from a dealer in Chicago and brought it to Montreal and restored it impeccably. After 55 thousand dollars in investment, it not only runs and sounds amazingly but feels and looks incredible.

This car needs TLC and some minor work. The car originally came from Tennessee and I had the papers for it but I moved in 2007 and right now I can't find it. When and if found, they will be handed over with the car purchase.

I am NOT a mechanic and pay someone to fix it.

This car had a 318 and I switched it to a 440 magnum. All 4 brakes are drums but I have the front 2 disc brakes and just never installed them. It comes with the car.

There is a stereo system in the glove box. Didn't want to touch the original look of the car. The only interior thing in the car that is not original is the steering wheel. I didn't like the bus driver feeling so I changed it to the same one they used in the Movie.

Yes, the car has the Dixie horn.

Here in Quebec, Canada the car must pass a strict inspection and I did that in 2004. I tried selling the car locally but too many people asked me to hold the car for them until they got the money. I decided to list on Ebay to see if serious interests exists elsewhere for this car.

The car can be exported back to the USA without hassle since it was made in the USA and under the US / Canada free trade agreements.

This car is a great drive and huge at shows and events! Please contact us with any questions at all.

The minor work left to be done on the car is:

-It requires a new trunk panel.

-Power steering box has a small leak. I fill it up twice a year.

-Requires a paint job under the hood.(The engine that is)

-Little bubbling of the paint (drivers side, about 2, 3 cm) under the G of the General.
