Hi, First let me say that this is Not my car , I'm selling this for an Estate. I am a Car Guy, but I don't know that much about Mopars. Everything in this Description is from my Visual contact with the car OR from the Estate owners description. If Reserve is not met, I will offer the car for sale locally, Please feel free to call me with questions Tom @ 804-402-6538 Now this is what I know..... This is a ONE OWNER car that I'm selling for an Estate, The car has NEVER been for sale except when it was new. The original Owner passed away, the estate says its a 1964 Dodge Polara or 440 that originally came with a 426 MAX WEDGE DUAL CARB engine with a FOUR SPEED Trans. The car was a Factory Super Stock Drag Car and was not meant for street use. The car WAS titled and put on the street. It does have the factory ALUMINUM FRONT FENDERS AND HOOD! In the early 1970's the engine and Trans were pulled and replaced with a smaller V8 and automatic Trans. (the dash was also replaced to have the Push Buttons). It is uncertain where the original engine & trans are now. It is a complete project, but a VERY RARE CAR. The vin # is 6242145442. We do have a clear title. It could use a floorpan. The Aluminum frontend is in Very Good condition. I'm sure this is a Very Rare Car in ANY condition. Hi, I've got more pictures showing the inside of the trunk area which does have several rust holes. I can e-mail anyone interested in seeing these pictures just provide your e-mail address with your request. The original battery cables are still located in the trunk. The fender wells HAVE NOT BEEN TUBBED like most for wider tires.Although the front bumder needs to be straightened, it IS the Original Thin LIGHTWEIGHT STEEL Bumper, There is a Virginia State Inspection sticker still on the windshield which is dated 1975 and the odometer shows just 30,000 miles.
