This auction is for a 2001 Dodge Dakota that has really been taken care. I am the second owner but this truck has been in my family since it rolled off the lot. My Dad bought the truck new and owned it until I purchased it from him this year. When I say this truck is very well maintained I am not exaggerating. I have all maintenance records and receipts for this vehicle going back to 2001. The truck is an SLT Model which basically means that it is loaded with power everything, keyless entry and everything works flawlessly. The 4.7 Liter V8 has plenty of power and still gets great mileage. The automatic transmission shifts smooth and this truck is very comfortable to drive long trips.

This truck is in great shape and I would consider it to be one of the cleanest on the road. The truck runs strong and is mechanically sound. The only issue is that the check engine light is on due to a computer error. I had it checked out and the error code is P0601 which according to my research is a checksum error with the PCM. The PCM can be replaced for under $200; I just have not done it yet since it does not affect the truck in any way.

The body and paint are good but have normal wear. There is an area on the front passenger door where someone backed into the truck causing a little damage that’s hardly noticeable. Also the rear bumper has a few dents from when I jackknifed a utility trailer backing up. I have taken extra close up photos of these areas so they can be inspected closer.

I just put brand new Firestone Destination A/T Tires on last month. They have full warranty and lifetime balance, rotation, valve stem, etc. I also have several expensive accessories on the truck. The windows have been profesionally tinted and have the VIN laser etched. The chrome step boards are made by Westin. The camper shell was purchased this year and it is made by ARE. The truck also has a spray in bed liner by Rhino Liner. I also replaced the factory tape deck with a factory CD player and upgraded all the speakers to a better quality. The truck has a K&N Lifetime Air Cleaner installed also wich improves performance and mileage.
