1972 Dodge Power Wagon
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Up for auction is my 1972 Dodge W300 Power Wagon. I purchased the truck from a guy in New Jersey. After doing a little internet research I found out it is a former brush fire truck from Jackson, New Jersey. The Cassville Volunteer Fire Company retired it in 2002. The last picture shows the truck in all its former glory. The truck came from the factory with a 318 engine (Special V8), NP435 transmission, NP205 transfer case, Dana 70 axles with 5:86 gears, 16” split rims, and a Braden LU-2 PTO driven winch. I have not done much with the truck since I’ve owned it. It has sat for the past few years. The truck would need a complete tune up, brakes inspected, and etc. before driving in traffic. Currently it runs, moves, and stops. This truck is not a rust bucket. There is rust through on the rear lower corner of the front fenders and rockers. Doors and cab floor are good. Included with the truck is a 9ft Utiline bed. It is disassembled and includes the bed sides, fenders, steps, new reproduction head board, rear sill, and tailgate. The rear stake pockets and there is some rusted spots that need to be repaired. The bed has been sand blasted and is in grey primer. I will post picture of it ASAP. You don’t see many single rear wheel 1972 W300 Utilines around. This is your chance to own one. The winch, wheels, and bed make it well worth my asking price. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking ! ! ! On Oct-25-09 at 19:27:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the truck also has factory power steering and power brakes. The power steering box and/or pump need to be rebuilt. Again, let me know if you have any questions. Thanks On Oct-28-09 at 16:44:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been getting a lot of questions about the 9ft Utiline bed. So, to verify here’s what you’re getting: new reproduction head board, left and right bed sides with fenders attached, Dodge stamped tailgate, rear sill, center tailgate hinge, one outer tailgate hinge, and left hand running board. I also found a factory brush guard that I will include with the truck. Check out the link below for more pictures of the brush guard, bed, and truck. Again, let me know if you have any questions.
