Not one aspect of this truck was left out multiple national show winner in shows such as Cavalcade. Yet completely built for abuse. Great truck for mud bogs, tug-a-war, car crushing or just simply attracting everyone’s attention on the street. This truck drives great but is hard to drive cause it literally stops traffic. Kids love it adults envy it just a beautiful work of art. I will try to give a list of everything done will be tough so I am sure I will leave something out don’t hesitate to ask questions please. BODY: The body has been completely stripped to bare metal and all dings and dents heated and hammered straight there is very minimal filler in this truck leading to absolutely no visible paint or filler shrink. The truck has the tail lights, door handles, tailgate handle, antenna hole and third brake light shaved all shaving was fully tig welded and hammered straight before applying any body filler a magnet sticks well to every part of the body Then was primed and hand blocked colored hand blocked and cleared blocked and buffed in Viper Red. It has brand new factory doors fenders and tailgate we didn’t want to fix the old one although they were in decent shape. The truck also has a Tourneau cover body color matched. Front and rear bumpers are customized runnel bumpers painted with the same quality as the body. A brand new factory grille was used with billet insert and new projection style angel eye headlights.
Interior: The interior of this truck is perfect with brand new factory carpet head liner and door panels the seats are custom wrapped charcoal gray with red double stitching and red inserts in all the seats it has power windows power seats the a/c works as well as everything else in the interior utilizes aftermarket auto meter fuel level and trans temp gauges and pillar mounted egt and boost gauge. The bed if fully carpeted a custom fit and padded bed rug the aluminum fuel cell is housed in the bed with This interior is flawless and beautiful.
Axles: The axles are 2.5 ton Rockwell military axles. The front has been narrowed 7.5 inches to center the differential all done professionally in a jig. Hubs have been flipped out. New u joints and new short side axle replaced old long side. Ouverson engineering locker has been installed. Ouverson engineering lockout hubs also installed on front axle. A Ouverson engineering “shredder” has replaced the ugly front factory front pinion flange The front axle is running 2.5 ton rated wheel brakes with 16” rotors and ford F-550 calipers from USA 6X6. The rear axle has a Ouverson engineering lockers and rear pinion brake with a wilwood caliper and cross drilled and slotted rotor.
Steering: The steering is full hydraulic running a PSC double ended 3” cylinder with ¾ heim joints connecting to hubs very strong and will not wear out. Controlling the cylinder is a unique orbital valve from PSC allowing return to center action and some road feel which makes highway driving much easier. All this is powered with a high flow high pressure pump from PSC and cooled through auxiliary cooler with fan. This thing steers great on the highway and is so power full will turn tires lock to lock on new brushed concrete with just a pinky finger.
Suspension: The suspension replicates the strength and function of a real monster truck with a triangulated 4 link utilizing 1 1/4 and ¾ heim joints. All tubing is .250 wall DOM tube for exceptional strength. The drop down cage is centered also made from DOM tubing for strength which houses the divorced transfer case. The suspension is fully tunable and is designed for best ride ability and function. It runs 2.5” diameter 16” travel fox remote reservoir coilovers with triple rate eibach springs. For maximum suspension control and drivability heavy duty 1.25” sway bars are used from off-road engineering using tuned adjustable arms. They truly make diving this truck fun and stable.
Driveline: The engine is a Cummins 5.9 liter 12valve diesel with and estimated 700hp it runs a pro 52 turbocharger custom bosch injectors and a lot of pump work. All pump work was done by Diesel Injection Service. The exhaust is a 5” stack right out of hood to get rid of the hot gasses a quickly as possible, dual electric fans keep the engine cool freeing up some extra hp. Behind the monster diesel is a custom billet aluminum engine pate to mate a Chevy TH-400 transmission. To keep up with all the torque and horsepower the engine makes a custom ATI reverse manual shift transmission was used. This transmission is rated for 2000+ hp by ATI. It has a deep pan holding 16 quarts of fluid and a remote cooler with separate fan in the rear of the truck. The torque converter is a triple disc 13.5” by 7” deep ATI diesel Allison converter custom splined to fit the TH-400 with a 900 rpm stall and rated at 900 Diesel HP. It is a 2wd transmission using a short balanced driveshaft with 1410 u joints connecting it to the NP200 Divorced transfer case. This is a military case from a M37 and rated at 1 ¼ ton it is rotated down and used as a drop down to give the driveshaft’s better angels to the axle. The transfer case is mounted in the center using matching length 4” diameter driveshaft’s with 1410 u joints.
Wheels and Tires: The wheels are USA6X6 double bead locks with a cool braced steel design they are powered coated grayish silver. They are 20” diameter and 17” width front and rear wheels have different offsets to accommodate the narrowed and flipped front axle. Keeping the trucks overall axle width identical. The tires are Super Swamper IROC’s 49x21x20 DOT approved tires. The truck will fit much larger tires fr4om 54” boggers or 66” v treads
This truck is truly beauty and beast it is built for a lot of abuse although has seen very little has been in two tug-a-war competitions and a few car shows always taking first place in its class. It drives well shows well and is just a great all around reliable monster nothing left to do on the truck ready to beat or show. It comes with a custom tug-a-war hitch that’s braces with dom tube heim joint links.
