The original founders were Jim and Mary Thiel, and their two sons John and Bob. At the time Jim had just retired from his job with the U.S. Government and John and Bob were both school teachers. After her death, Jim decided to retire from the business and turn it over to his son John. John then retired from Teaching and went into the business full time.
