This auction is for a size Double Extra Large XXL, brand new DOT (Department of Transportation) approved, German style motorcycle helmet in gloss black with clear coat.   If you don't see your size in another of our listings, just e-mail us.  We are always glad to help!

This was the first German style Motorcycle Helmet ever produced with DOT Certification.   We think it is still the best available!

The lower lip of the helmet covers the upper ear, but it is a half helmet style and will not obstruct your hearing like a full coverage helmet.  (Who wants to ride deaf anyway?) 

It has a tough, well fitted, gloss black edge trim and double stainless steel D-rings. 

It is brand new in the box, and comes with a cloth helmet bag for shipping protection and an owners manuel. 

The thick solid hard foam and plush black interior lining provide good thermal insulation as well as protection from impact. 

DOT decal is permanently embossed under the clear coating on the back of the helmet. 

To determine your size: 

Use a string or a flexible cloth tape and measure the circumference around your head about one inch above the eyebrow.  Do this several times and make sure you get the largest possible accurate measurement.  If your mesurement is on the upper or lower limit of the size table, be sure to order the smaller size.  For best protection, a helmet should fit snugly.  Note:  "It is best to get help and have someone else make this measurement for you." 

XS - 20 1/4 - 20 7/8" (52 or 53cm)

S - 21 - 21 5/8" (54 - 55cm)

This is not a novelty helmet or a gag!!!  Please, always ride with a helmet, and always buy a DOT approved helmet to assure maximum protection.  Don't risk your life with the protection of a novelty helmet!  What's your skull worth anyway, or that of your wife, girl, kids or other passenger?

Shipping and payment notes:  Paypal is the prefered method of payment.  If paid by e-check,  or any method through Paypal except credit card or regular paypal funds, items will not be shipped until funds have cleared (7 - 14 days).   Insurance is strongly advised.  Once it ships, it is your item.  Protect yourself.  We cannot be responsible for loss or damages once the item is turned over to the shippers. 

This item will ship by USPS Priority Mail for $14.90 (Estimated delivery time 2-3 days), or by USPS Parcel Post for $12.90  (Estimated delivery time 6-9 days).  USPS methods of shipping suggested include tracking in the price.  Insurance is available with USPS for $2.00.  We do ship UPS.  It usually costs more and is slower than Priority mail.  Other arrangements can be made at your expense if you contact us.  We will always try to work with you.  

We ship quick!!! Nobody ships quicker!!  We don't call for pick ups, or wait till we have enought items to make it worth a run to the post office.  We will normally ship the same day as payment clears when possible, or the next day if we can.  We try hard to save you shipping time, and USPS saves you money. 

We gladly ship to Canada.  We now offer flat rate shipping to Canada by USPS Priority Main International for 1 half shell or German Style Helmet at a set fee of $23.50 with optional insurance for an additional $2.50.  Small items purchased at the same time as the helmet will be shipped in the box with the helmet with no additional shipping charges.  Please Note:  We do not honor the UPS shipping calculator quotes.  The UPS shipping calculator is not accurate.  We will only ship by UPSthrough special arrangements after confirming the exact shipping costs and must provide an alternative invoice before you pay.  Be aware that if you use the UPS shipping calculator with the Pay Now Option, you will be subject to additional shipping charges.
