| Ducati 848 Superbike Track / Race Only, NO RESERVE!

Vehicle Description

|
2008 848 ~6k miles (~4k street) now track only (salvage title).
I have owned this bike since new, it has had it's recommended services
performed at Seacoast Sport Cycle Ducati, they also repaired the bike
from a low side as a street bike, after which I retained the bike and
converted it for track only use. The damage sustained to the bike was
limited to rashed OEM bodywork, bent foot peg mounting tabs (yes bent,
not broken, it was a light low side), and a 1/4" nick in the swing arm,
these two factors (bent frame tabs and nicked swing arm) resulted in
the total loss of the bike. It has not
been laid down since, I have the OEM Bodywork that is scratched up, including the headlight and tail light which are undamaged.
Once I retained the bike, I set it up extensively for track use. I instruct at trackdays and race on the occasional weekend, but demand only the best from my bikes, this 848 is incredibly dialed in. Whomever has ridden
the bike has raved about how easy it is to ride, including one of my mechanics who rides several bikes daily and attests "that is the best bike I have ever ridden, period." The only cosmetic
blemishes are on the lower belly pan which was ground through due to
lack of ground clearance or poor fitment of the track plastics.
This is 100% ready to ride, turn the key and you're ready for your next trackday or race weekend.
Here is a list of modifications to the bike, I have all original parts (exhaust, shock, fork internals, triple clamps, etc.). As you can see very little expense was spared getting this bike as dialed in as possible.
Dan Kyle 30mm offset triple clamps.
Ohlins 25mm Cartridge Fork Internals (.95 kg springs - setup for 200 lb rider w/ gear)
Ohlins TTX Rear Shock (also setup for 200 lb rider w/ gear)
SATO Ride Height Adjuster
Ohlins / Dan Kyle Steering Damper and Mounting Kit
Woodcraft Rearsets
Woodcraft Frame Sliders (Under-body)
Termignoni Slipons w/ DP ECU
YoYoDyne 1/4 Turn Throttle
Brembo RCS Radial Master Cylinder w/ spare OEM Radial Master Cylinder
DP Racing Seat (High-quality, grippy foam)
1098 Brembo Monobloc Calipers w/ 1098 SS brake lines
YoYoDyne Race Fairing Stay
Hotbodies Bodywork
Galfer HH Brake Pads
My loss is your gain, whomever ends up with this bike
will not be disappointed.
