Tractor Tires All Day
This bead breaker works great. I used a sliding hammer pry bar to get enough space to easily start tapping in the bead breaker into place on old, rusty wheels/tires. Take your time and work with old tires. Use the sliding hammer pry bar to help break the bead around. Many times tires are very tight because of rust and dirt in the beads. Just work it slowly and carefully. Usually took up to 20 minutes max on old rusty ones.This bead breaker works great. Why buy Hydralic, They start at $250,00
Manual but works fast. The mechanical ram foot easily drives the tire down off the rim. Saved hundreds because I was expecting to have to nut the hydraulic model which consist of a hydraulic foot pedal. Hyralic ram cylinder and the high pressure hydraulic hose that links them together. Also the electric motor had to be hooked to an electrical source so it was limited to a 110 v0ltage source. On the road that means a generator for both the hydraulic unit and a compressor. This heavy duty tire bead separator needs nothing until after the tire is assembled back together. It's a cool tool.Manual but works fast. Awesome product for small shop or anyone who changes their own tires.
So far I've broke down two large tractor tires with this tool. It was far easier and faster than any other one I've done in the past. And I've done my share of tractor and large truck tires! Used as recommended, this tool should last a long time!
