General info
This is a very original un-molested classic wooden motor yacht. Most systems have all been upgraded, while maintaining originality. The complete hull was stripped down to bare wood and resprayed 8 years ago, and again 4 years ago, teak deck recaulked 2 years ago, Fiberglass cabin resprayed in Awlgrip 3 years ago, Toe rails stripped and refinished (need to be done again!) Rebuilt Windlass with new motor and electrical panel, 1 large Don Allen fold down boarding ladder with stainless steel rails on starboard side, Stern boarding ladder entering into aft saloon just rebuilt, hard enclosed aft saloon with canvass roll up aft windows, sliding smoked plexi glass windows on both sides (these have been removed to open the aft salon, and are included with the yacht), wet bar in aft saloon with sink and wine rack, fully enclosed pilot house separate from aft saloon, many electrical outlets have been changed to GFI’s. 1 12 volt battery, 2 year old Guess twin 12volt battery charger. Shore power (50 or 35 amp) can be plugged in at either side of the yacht as both the port and starboard sides have stainless steel connectors) Canvass Toe rail covers, rail covers, full helm covers, I have owned this boat for 8 years and spent much time and money upgrading this very original Chris Craft Constellation.
I am the third proud owner. The boat is a 7 and very little to make it a 9. All safety equipment, 35 life vests, 1 100 ft 1’ mooring line, 1 65ft 1” mooring line, 8 docking lines, 1 50lb anchor, 1 danforth anchor, aprox 300 feet of galvanized chain, 1- 50 ft 35 amp, 1- 50ft 50 amp shore power cords, 1 50ft cable/phone cord, boat is wired for satellite and phone systems, Davit crane above, original blueprints, manuals for almost all systems. All the rectangular port holes have been trimmed with half round stainless steel trim.
This is one of the straightest, unmolested Chris Craft constellations on the market and very aggressively priced as I am looking to purchase an Airplane or motorcoach. This Yacht is listed on several web sites and priced between 104K to 109K, buy direct from the owner and we both save $$. This yacht was once actually sold for $150K and I turned it down, oh well!! So if your looking for a great yacht at firesale pricing, this is your calling! Thousands of dollars in extra filters and spare parts are included with the sale. PLEASE ask questions and have your financing in place before bidding, I welcome all inspections, and can provide up to date photographs. Other financing arrangements possible.
Radar mast hinged to fit the Yacht in a covered "live aboard" 50 amp 220 volt berth located in Stockton CA, which may be transferable
The yacht was hauled and surveyed March 2009. A full recent survey is available.
