This is a FORD C4 or C6 9.5” 5000 stall converter. This torque converter will work on a SMALL BLOCK FORD ONLY with a flexplate that has the stock style dish!!! If you have a big block or the flat style flexplate, you will need our converter with a 1 piece forged front cover which can be found in our eBay store.

You must specify at the time of purchase if you need a C-4 or C-6 converter (we custom make these converters to your transmission).

If it’s for C-4, you must specify the spline count on your input shaft (24 spline or 26 spline) and you must specify the size of your flexplate (157 tooth or 164 tooth). A 157T flexplate will have a 10-1/2” bolt circle and a 164T flexplate will have a 11-7/16” bolt circle.

If it’s for C-6, since this converter is for a small block Ford, your pilot OD should be 1.375” and your flexplate should be a 164T with a 11-7/16” bolt circle.
