This is a FORD C4 or C6 9.5” stall converter with a 1 piece forged front cover that we'll CUSTOM STALL anywhere you want it.  This torque converter will work on small block or big block Fords.

 

You must specify at the time of purchase if you need a C-4 or C-6 converter (we custom make these converters to your transmission).

 

If it’s for C-4 behind a small block Ford, you must specify the spline count on your input shaft (24 spline or 26 spline) and you must specify the size of your flexplate (157 tooth or 164 tooth).  A 157T flexplate will have a 10-1/2” bolt circle and a 164T flexplate will have a 11-7/16” bolt circle.

 

If it’s for C-6, you must specify the size of your crank pilot (1.375” or 1.848”).  Your flexplate should be a 164T with a 11-7/16” bolt circle.

 

This high performance stall converter features the following:

 

  • Custom stalled to your application (upon purchase, we'll email you a list of specs to fill out on your car and we'll custom stall the converter anywhere you need it)
  • Anti-ballooning plates (will handle nitrous and/or transbrake)

3/8” grade 8 converter to flexplate bolt kit can be purchased separately to ship with your converter (check out our eBay store under the “Transmission Parts” section).
