Fiat 124 Spider

California Car

This is a Fiat I purchased in Pa as a project car and I now find myself short on space and time.

It is as I purchased it.

The story goes:It was originally from California, I now have it titled in Ohio. 

This car has been in storage for over 12 years. 

The car is intact except for missing a wiper and the western wheels .

I have installed a brand new battery.

Car is pretty damn rust free. Please take the time to look at all photo's.

It is very solid underneath. I have painted four 124 Spiders now and I find this 124 very solid. It has one small spot on outside bottom of right door, and it had some damage on left front at one time. It is an easy fix. The hood was replaced, and the few spots are primed.

The engine sounds strong, and the transmission shift well in all gears. Needs choke adjusted. The clutch feels good. The brakes do need work as the front calipers hang up a bit and it looks like the rubber lines should be replaced. The tires are in poor condition.

The convertible top frame is good, but the top needs replaced.

The seats cushions are coming apart at the seams. The seat frames are in good shape.

The dash wood and counsel wood are in very nice condition.

I will include a new full dash cap and center counsel cap ( see photos )

Please note the mileage on my Pa title was 108,698. Actual unknown.

This is a very solid car. You do not see many of these without rust!!

I purchased it because it is much easier to do mechanical work vs welding up a rusted tub.

These cars are in the process of becoming collectors items, and therefore becoming harder to find in good condition.

 Local pick-up preferred, but if buyer would like to have it shipped, I would assist on pick up.
