You are bidding on a 1973 Ford Gran Torino Sport. This car is a fastback equipped with the 351 cleveland 2v and fmx tranny.

Engine: Bored .030 over with Keith Black pistons, Heads port matched to intake and built by Ed Hale machine in Lakeside, CA., Weiand xcellerator intake, Edelbrock 750 carb, comp cams K32-224-4 cam and lifter kit, Harland Sharp roller rockers( kept stock 1.73 ratio), Hedman Headers, Electric cooling fan, dual exhaust, points eliminator kit and coil. New Edelbrock High Flow Water pump.

Transmission: Built with shift kit and race clutches, High stall torque converter by Dalenzie Torque converters. B&M Mega shifter.

Rear end: Ford nine inch, 3.50 gears with Auburn Pro posi

Suspension: New front upper and lower ball joints, new control arm bushings front and rear, new shocks, steering box rebuilt.

Body: New quarter panels and doors , Color 1969 mach 1 black jade, black racing stripes, Complete new weather stripping for entire car. New wheels and tires. New Rear Spoiler

Interior: New carpet kit, Seats reupholstered by Jims auto upholstery, New dash top, new headliner.

That pretty much sums up what has been done to the car. The body work is good, but you can see a few flaws in it, overall though the car is a real sweet looker. The car runs great and is real quick. It shifts pretty hard due to the shift kit. It also shifts high because of the high stall converter. As I said above I will include a stock stall converter with the car in the sale. Right now it is set up a bit more strip than street, but it’s a blast to drive.

The headliner is new, but it is a bit wrinkled. The drivers window glass has some scratches. Small dent in the rear bumper. Wipers do not work. Power is not getting to the motor so it should be the switch. I never take it out in the rain so it has never been an issue. The motor has a slight oil leak at the timing cover, just needs a new timing cover gasket.

So that is basically it. This car is not perfect but it is a sweet looking car et.with a bunch of power. Sounds great and will definitely turn heads.
