1936 Ford cabriolet , all steel , originally chopped and Carson topped in 1948 (See black and white picture ) . Just finished complete frame off restoration , has maybe 5 miles on it . Basically everything on car is new or restored : Paint , complete custom Oxblood interior and matching rumble seat , orig. 48 Carson top redone , 1947 59A flathead with 4" Merc crank , orig. Cyclone heads .60 over , hot cam , dual 97's, nickel plated headers , all new 39 trans , juice brakes all new , completely rewired with all new harnesses , 12 volt system , stock gauges with voltage drops . 39 Merc bumpers chromed and pinstriped oxblood to match interior , steel bubble skirts , new Firestone wide whites , nickel plated Cadillac sombreros , 5 pieces of hood stainless on each side , near mint original grille , headlights etc. Lights work properly off of N.O.S. 36 horn button , 36 Banjo steering wheel , nickel plated e brake handle , trick vintage bakelight shift knob , orig. radio , windows roll up and down nicely , cowl vent works great , all new weatherstripping . All new exhaust , smithy's mufflers , chrome pencil tips . New running board covers , N.O.S. outside door handles , 39 tailights , gas filler moved behind rear lic. plate . I went for that 40's Westergard look and left it sitting a little high on purpose , easy to drop the back a little more if you want . Just shot it for cover of Rod and Custom magazine , will come out next couple months . Frame , suspension , torque tube etc. all sanblasted and painted chassis black . Radiator redone , new starter , speedway ball bearing water pumps ... On and on , I'm out of breath . I'm trying to buy a piece of land and need the cash , otherwise this car wouldn't be for sale , it's a really solid rust free Ca. car . Any question please ask Mike 818)517-7508 .
