I have a 1959 Ford Edsel Ranger that is in pretty rough condition. This car has rust through on the lower portion of the passenger rear and front doors as well as some in the trunk where there is some rust through near the driver side fender and various places around the vehicle body near the bottom of the front fenders and doors. Interior is in poor condition with tattered seats, but the dash instruments, radio and clock are in good condition. The engine is a straight six and has a hole in one piston and the head was removed. I will include the head, air cleaner housing and head bolts that were removed and placed inside the car. The carburretor says Holley and has a clear plastic or glass near the front covering something. I've been told it is period factory. My father purchased the car in the 80s as an investment but then let it sit outside for many years. It has a lot of good parts including most of the chrome and the tail lights, starter, etc. I moved it today to clean it up and look it over. The tires took air and the steering seemed tight. There were some new shocks inside that as far as I know go to the car. They will be included. It is being sold as is for parts or restoration. God knows how hard it is to find parts for these rare cars. Door Codes are Body 58D, Color RR, Trim 23, Date 06E, Trans 1, Axle 2. Sorry it's taken me some time to get this information out.
