EM2 INC IS PRESENTING YET ANOTHER GORGEOUS 1977 BRONCO. THESE ARE THE CREAM OF THE CROP BECAUSE IT'S THE LAST YEAR FOR THE SHOEBOX BRONCO AND THEY HAVE ALL THE GOODIES. WHEN WE GOT THIS RIG IT WAS ALREADY PAINTED "HEMI ORANGE" WITH A SLIGHT BIT OF COLOR IN THE PEARL CLEARCOAT. WE TOOK IT APART AND EM2-IZED THE BRONK. WHAT YOU SEE ARE SOME OF THE NICEST RUST FREE "ORIGINAL" FLOOR PANS WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. THIS RIG HAS IT ALL. FRONT AND REAR TRAC LOC, NEW EXTENDED DRIVELINES, 3" LIFT WITH DROPPED PITMAN, TRAC BAR BRACKET, GAS ADJUSTABLE 9000 RANCHO SHOCKS ON 4 CORNERS, CUSTOM BENT RADIUS ARMS, AND EXCELLENT STEERING. SINCE THE MOTOR IS A 93 MUSTANG HO ROLLER EFI, IT NEEDED A BRAIN. WE TUCKED IT SAFELY IN A STRONG BOX UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT(SEE PICS) . AS USUAL WE WILL GO THROUGH THE RIG, STARTING WITH THE BODY:
BODY: THE BODY ON THIS CRITTER LOOKS TO BE UNRUSTED AND NEEDING NO RUST REPAIR ATTENTION. THE DOORS AND TAILGATE LINE UP WELL AND DONT SAG LIKE MOST. WE WERE TOLD THIS WAS ONLY A TWO OWNER BRONCO BEFORE WE GOT IT.OWNER #2 BOUGHT IT IN 2007 , SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL YA?. WHEN WE INSTALLED THE NEW 8 POINT ROLL BAR WE TRICKED OUT THE TWO CENTER SUPPORTS TO INCORPORATE TWO 6" KENWOOD SPEAKERS FOR THE STEREO AND AN F-150 COURTESY LIGHT JUST FOR SHIGGLES. THE WIRE IS IN THE ROLL BAR TO UNDER DASH. THE PREVIOUS HOLES FOR THE OLD ROLL BAR WERE USED OR PLUGGED SO THERE WOULD BE NO WATER PENETRATION. WE PUT NEW PADS FOR THE HOOD TO CLOSE ON AND INSTALLED A NEW JACK, STORAGE POD, AND WIPER WASHER BOTTLE. WE ALSO DID A LITTLE CABLE MANAGEMENT. FOLKS, REMEMBER TO LEAVE THE NEW HEADLINER INTACT WHEN YOU REMOVE THE HARDTOP CAUSE YOU CAN'T INSTALL IT "AFTER" THE TOP IS ON.(LOL). WE INSTALLED A NEW TRIPLE PLATED CHROMY FRONT BUMPER AND A WHOLE LOAD OF GOODIES ON THE BACK BUMPER: THE BUMPER HAS THE RECEIVER HITCH, SWING AWAY SPARE, JERRY CAN, NEW COLEMAN COOLER, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, A SHOVEL. THERE IS ALSO A NEW 23 GALLON TANK AND FUEL PUMP FOR THE EFI. THE AUX TANK HOLDS FUEL BUT DOES NOT TRANSFER TO THE MOTOR AT THIS TIME.
INTERIOR: THE INTERIOR OF THIS BRONK IS IN A WORD "FUNCTIONAL" WE INSTALLED THE NEW ROLL BAR, SEATS, DELUXE DOOR PANELS AND QUARTERS. IT HAS FOUR SEAT BELTS , A NEW TUFFY SECURITY BOX, FIRE EXTINGUISHER, FIRST AID KIT, FLASHLIGHT, FLEX SPOUT FOR THE JERRY CAN, STRONG BOX UNDER PASSENGER SEAT, WEATHERSTRIP, HEADLINER, VISORS, AND WIPER MOTOR COVER. (WE HAD TO CUSTOM MAKE THE VISOR BRACKETS TO ALLOW FOR THE ROLL CAGE). THE ROLL CAGE ALSO ALLOWS USE OF THE GLOVEBOX. THEY WEREN'T INEXPENSIVE BUT THEY ALL COMBINE TO MAKE A VERY NICE INTERIOR THAT IS ALSO USEFUL. THE GUAGES ARE MANUAL AND INDER DASH MOUNTED. THE FUEL GUAGE "WORKS"! WE USED THE HEAVY RUBBER FRONT MAT OVER DYNA MAT SOUND MATTING FOR SOUND ATTENTUATION. THIS GIVES THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, IT'S QUIET AND YOU ARE NOT AFRAID OF GETTING MUD AND DIRT ON THE CARPET. WE THINK YOU WILL REALLY LIKE THE INTERIOR LAYOUT.
ENGINE BAY AND SUSPENSION: WE CANNOT REMEMBER A SUSPENSION AND UNDERCARRIAGE SO FUNCTIONAL. THERE ARE NO MISTAKES UNDERNEATH THAT NEED TO BE COVERED UP WITH UNDERCOATING. WE ALWAYS UNDERCOAT THE ACTUAL FENDER OPENING BETWEEN THE FENDER AND INNER FENDER SO WATER DOESN'T CAUSE RUST, BUT THE INNER FENDER WELLS ARE ALL TWO STAGE "HEMI ORANGE" AND RUST FREE. THE DIFFERENTIALS ARE TRAC LOC 3.25:1 AND THE DRIVELINES ARE NEW. THERE ARE NO LEAKS FROM THE TRANSFER CASE OR DIFFS. THERE IS A VERY SLIGHT LEAK FROM WHERE THE OIL TEMP SENDING UNIT COMES OUT OF THE PLUG FOR THE MUSTANGS BUT WE WILL INSTALL A NEW PLUG WITHOUT THE SENDER UNIT IN IT BEFORE THIS BRONK SHIPS OUT. THE STEERING HAS ZERO PLAY AND THIS BRONCO STEERS REALLY GREAT AT 75 MPH OR 25 MPH. THE 4X4 WORKS EXCELLENT. THE HO MOTOR FLAT HAULS ^%$!. THESE ROLLER FUELIES HAVE ALL THE POWER YOU WILL EVER NEED AND GET DECENT MILEAGE TO BOOT. NO PUMPING OR CHOKING TO START. JUST TURN THE KEY AND GO! THE INSTALLATION OF THE ROLLER EFI MUST HAVE BEEN DONE BY A PRO BECAUSE EVERYTHING WORKS AND THE POSITIONING OF THE ACTUAL BLOCK ALLOWS US TO USE A FACTORY HOOD WITHOUT CUT OUTS. THE TRANS COOLER IS MOUNTED WELL AND THE RADIATOR IS NEW. THE CROSSOVERS ARE STAINLESS STEEL AND MADE FOR THE CONVERSION. NO FLEX HOSE HERE! WE THINK YOU WILL FIND THIS TO BE A VERY RELIABLE AND COMFORTABLE BRONCO. INSPECTIONS ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED. NOTHING TAKES THE PLACE OF A PHYSICAL INSPECTION.
