Here is a good condition 1997 F250 Longbed with a 5 speed manual trans which is bullet proof, and the long lasting 7.3 powerstroke. I bought this truck thinking that I would use it more for work and that hasnt been the case, its been sitting more then getting used. The truck runs EXCELLENT and needs nothing mechanically,it averages between 16-19 mpg, it will need new tires in the future but other than that she has been the best and most reliable truck Ive ever owned. Here are the good and the bad things about the truck, headliner sags a little in the interior, body has dings and dents, the rear left quarter panel looks like someone had a little fender mender and never repaired it although the paint looks good, the steering column has a little bit of play but has never hindered me from steering and driving properly. Now the good, the paint looks pretty dam good for a truck this old even though it has its dings and dents, the batteries were changed right before I bought the truck as well as the alternator, the clutch and the flywheel were changed right before I bought it as well so this truck would be ready for anything, all in all this truck will make someone very happy as it has for me.
