For sale: 1955 Ford Fairlane Victoria 2-door Hardtop. Needs restoring. Yard drives only. Not road worthy. Smooth running Y-block 272 V-8. Three speed standard shift. Dual exhaust. Fender skirts. Original paint and interior. Most lights work inside and out, heater blower runs on Hi and Low, radio humms when switched on, dome light works when doors opened. No hidden damage or bodywork under years of repaints. Small fender-bender repair on right side at door gap area is the only repair work on the body. Front crossmember is solid. Both front fenders have rusted through at bottom. Only rust through in floor is driver's side rear floor area. Both front floors, toe boards, and passenger side rear are solid. Trunk floor is solid. Rust through in spare tire well. Rear valance panel solid. Needs all new glass. Although more Victoria 2-door Hardtops were manufactured in 1955 than the Crown Victoria, the Crown Victoria has seemingly survived in greater numbers probably due to it's uniqueness. The 2-door Hardtops fell prey to the local stock car tracks of the late 1950's and 1960's, the junk yards, and ultimately the car crusher. Today it seems harder to find a 1955 Victoria 2-door hardtop than a 1955 Crown Victoria. This is an unmolested car very worthy of restoration. I have a clear title. I reserve the right to end the auction early if the reserve has not been met. Auction will run to the end once reserve is met.
