Up for sale is my really nice 1963 Galaxy 500 convertible. It was built to be the ultimate of cruisers with thousands spent on the best of everything inside and out. It runs and drives beautifully and would be happy cruising from Miami to LA on any given day. The engine is a 390 4 barrel with a 3 speed automatic, and dual exhaust. It is smooth and very quiet. It has disc brakes on the front and stops as well as it goes. It sits on Polished Intro wheels and low profile tires to extract as much handling as I could out of a 40+ year old car. The paint and body is as beautiful as I have ever seen with extremely straight original body panels painted in a deep gloss black base coat, clear coat paint. The chrome side molding has been removed and replaced with an air-brushed stripe simulating the side moldings was meticulously done. All the rest of the chrome on the car was redone and shines like new. The seats, door panels, rear sail panels, and convertible top boot are all freshly recovered in a black Ultra Leather upholstery which is extremely comfortable and durable. On top of this, a completely custom 8k dollar stereo system was installed with custom console, custom speaker pods and a completely upholstered Ultra Leather trunk with (2) 1000 watt Fosgate amplifiers. The car has a new power Haartz fabric convertible top, power windows, power locks, AC, power steering, power brakes, Viper alarm, and everything works perfectly including all lights, turn signals, switches and pull knobs. I just finished a full service and at the same time replaced the water pump, power steering pump, and starter. The car starts runs and drives like it should, but after only putting maybe 1000 miles on it in a year, it needs to go. There is over 50k invested in this car and it shows, but I am a motivated seller and have other projects waiting in the wings.
