VERY RARE 1963 & 1/2 MERCURY COMET CUSTOM This 2 door hard top Comet is the first year model for the factory V8. This vehicle was originally purchased in Augusta Georgia in 1963. It was a one owner vehicle until 2008. The detailed restoration of this classic car was easily performed due to the excellent condition from the start. When we took the body to bare metal, there was zero rust or dents! There is no bondo on this ride. the panels are all original. This classic has been DTM Epoxy Primed and coated in 2009 Explorer Red and Pearl White. The paint is flawless. The power plant is 260 V8 matching numbers, and has been rebuilt from the crank up. The FORD - OMATIC transmission shifts clean and firm. This classic has been gone through from the ground up. All new brake components, lines, shoes. The electrical system is all new, and everything works on this classic comet. This Custom cruiser retains the original posi traction rear end.
