1927 Henry Ford “Real-Old-Time” HOT ROD All Steel Roadster… Stunning 3 year recent restoration. NEW 1949, 24 stud Flat head with pre-war Offenhauser heads and intake. Motor-City Flat heads special cam with Martin/ Schebble dual Roce Carborators. Egge Pistons, Johnson lifters, stainless valves, hardened seats, Motor City oil pump, which will pre-oil the crankshaft first. Horsepower is rated at 200 and the car only weighs 1380 lbs. “She flies!” Linked to a Ford Automatic 3 speed and backed by an updated Ford 9” rear end. The front end is completely chromed and is from So-Cal Speed Shop in California. Run with an early Buick finned drum over drilled rotors. “Reds” Headers make their way into a complete stainless exhaust with Smitty Mufflers… She sounds perfect! This flattie rolls on 15” vintage wires and diamond back fat white wall radials. This car was driven 4 hours to Columbus Good Guy Nationals and won the Pros Pick and a Magnum Axle Real Hot Rod Award. Kugel brake system, Steward-Warner fuel pump, Lokar shifter, moon gauges, ONLY 1800 miles driven total since completion. This hot rod is totally inspected and runs on a 12 volt system tru-out. The body is and has always been rust-free and the paint is magnificent. The gold leaf is real 23K gold and the car is a true crowd pleaser where ever it goes. This roadster sits nice on pinched 32 rails as you can see and has the “Just Right” attitude! The hood has been louvered as well as the side panels and they go with the car. This is a very high quality steel roadster that needs nothing. No expense was spared in the resurrection of this old time hot rod! The attention to detail is very impressive.
