1929 Ford Model T T Bucket

If you're in the market for a street rod that has all of the hard work already done, this is it. The body (tub and bed) are all metal. The tub is an original Ford steel tub with opening doors, a finished interior complete with Dolphin gauges, Ididit tilt steering column, billet pedals, hand made aluminum dash and console. It has an AM/FM/CD player and a 12 volt power supply for your cell phone charger. It also has driver and passenger seat belts, and a middle harness for a child. The bed is hand-made aluminum with a cargo area above the custom made fuel tank. The bed cover is aluminum as well, and has a Pontiac Fiero wing on it. The rear fenders are steel too, and they are mounted the the rear suspension so the gap between the wheel and the fender remains the same. I do not have any front fenders at this time, but might get creative and make some one of these days. This car has Headwind Headlights, a Duval Windshield, QA1 adjustable coilover shocks on all 4 corners, and a killer set of stainless steel headers with baffles. There is a transmission cooler mounted between the tub and the bed to keep the new Summit 350 Turbo cool. The engine is a Chevy 350, with aftermarket aluminum heads, a polished Edelbrock Performer Intake, Holley carb, and has a Mallory Distributor and a High Flow Aluminum water pump. It also has a large electric fan that keeps the car at a pretty constant 180 degrees. This car is street legal. It has has high and low beam headlights, turn signals, brake lights, dash lights, license plate lights, 4 way flashers, but no wipers. It also does not have a speedometer cable installed, so the mileage reads "0". The whole car probably has 700 miles on it since it was built. I have driven this car in town and on the highway. It runs, rides, and drives like you would expect it to. The new wheels are made by Billet Specialties, and they are 20 inch in the rear and 17 inch on the front. The new tires are B.F.Goodrich G-Force tires. The brakes are new Wilwood Discs, and are on all 4 wheels. The power booster and master cylinder are new also. The frame is a custom built steel frame with a Ford 9 inch rear with an I-beam front end. It was never painted after it was built in the event the new owner wants to paint or powder coat it a certain color. The body of the car has only been painted base coat black to seal it until the new owner paints it the color they want it. Speaking of that, the whole car is built using riv-nuts, so it will disassemble very quickly if you want it to. It is a little loud, and it is a little rought riding, but if you're into this kind of car, it's part of the appeal. Obviously, this isn't a car for everyone. I don't recommend it as a daily driver, and I don't have a clue what kind of gas mileage it gets. If it rains, you will get wet. If you drive it, people will stare. If you are over 6 feet tall, you will not be real comfortable. The car has a clean, clear title and is ready to go as it sits. Buy it now and tinker with it through the cooler weather, and when spring rolls around, you'll be ready to ride. Or, buy it and keep it just like it is and ride it around the whole time. Trades are possible, but no junk or projects please. I would consider another street rod that doesn't have an engine, or other classic, antique, collectible, or muscle cars. I don't want any boats, and MIGHT consider motorcycle trades. I would also consider a truck, or "normal" car of equal value. Over $18,000 has been spent on this car the way it sits. I'm not trying to get anywhere near that out of it, but won't be giving it away either. Please be realistic in your offers. No hard feelings if you offer something I don't want. It's nothing personal...I'm just looking for a new toy. You can reach me at northshorebill@aol.com if you have any questions, or if you are looking to trade, please send photos of your vehicle to that email address.
