Here is a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang fuel injected 5.0L V8 with a 4 speed overdrive AOD Automatic transmission that has that great resto-mod look!!! This muscle car is in great shape and looks beautiful with its gorgeous Moonlight Blue Metallic paint finished over a gorgeous lightly customized Palomino and blue two tone interior. The Mustang looks great sitting on a brand new set of classic "Torque Thrust" style wheels with brand new tires. Exterior: The Mustang is finished in the beautiful shade of Moonlight Blue Metallic and looks great. The body on this car is laser straight. The doors line up great as does the trunk. All of the chrome is very nice and looks great!!! The paint job was done in about 2000 and is of very nice driver quality paint with minor imperfections but can be shown at a local weekend car show with pride. The paint job was a high quality paint job and has stood the test of time. The only flaws in it are the chips here and there that have been touched up. The car still looks great despite the age of the paint. The cars exterior is set off by a great looking set of new 17 inch "Torque Thrust" style wheels with brand new tires. All of the lights, turn signals and tail lights are in perfect working order. The overall appearance of this car is really set off by the by the gorgeous chrome contrasting with the beautiful Moonlight Blue paint.
Interior: The Interior of this muscle car perfectly compliments the exterior. The palomino bucket seats are like new and in great shape. The padding on all of the seats is also in good shape and has lots of life left in them. The door panels, dash board including the gauge bezel and the glove box are in good shape as well. The steering wheel has a leather wrap around the steering wheel rim to help complete the two tone look. The carpet is also in great condition. This Mustang retains an original AM radio that fits in the factory dash without having to cut holes in the dash!!! The modern AOD transmission is covered by a later Automatic transmission shift plate that keeps the classic look to the interior. The interior was also completed in 2000 and does show a little bit of wear, but overall it is a very nice to cruise in. Overall the interior of this car is in excellent condition and looks beautiful with its subtle custom touches here and there.
Engine: The fuel injected 5.0L V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The engine does not blow any smoke on start up or while driving. This pony runs nice and cool in Arizona's sweltering 115 degree heat. It has plenty of power and has that great muscle car sound exciting through dual exhaust. The modern automatic transmission with overdrive shifts perfectly through all the gears and is a joy to drive. The overdrive is a wonderful thing on the highway. The car features a 9 inch rear end as well as four wheel disc brakes which help this car stop much better than the typical drum brake cars. The brakes are very responsive and stop this pony with ease. This muscle car drives great and steers with ease. I would have no problem setting out on a cross country road trip in this car. This car is in excellent mechanical condition.

Clean Mustangs Convertibles are getting harder and harder to find these days. This car is in great shape cosmetically and mechanically. I really love the resto-mod look this car has. This is a well sorted Mustang and is ready to be driven and enjoyed. This car earns lots of thumbs up every where you go and is a pleasure to drive. It would make a great daily driver or a weekend show piece.
