This auction is for my personal 1966 GT-350. I have owned this car for about the last. 17 years. I purchased this car from the second owner in Calif. This car was purchased new in at Hayward Ford, and spend its time in Calif. until I purchased it in 1993, and brought it back here, in sunny dry southern AZ.

The car is also signed by none other than Carroll Shelby, on the glove box.

The car was repainted the original colors in 1988. The paint still looks great to this day, because it is, and has been garaged and covered since its paint job. It also had some mechanical work done to it by McCall Motorsports around the same time.

The car has its ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS MOTOR with Ford vin numbers on block.  All  ORIGINAL FORD AND SHELBY VINS ARE INTACT along with ORIGINAL SHELBY VIN TAG, The car is listed in the SAAC REGISRTY and the vin. numbers have been verified, by SAAC. I have the letter from Rick Kopec stating so. In another letter from SAAC it states that it is among the rarest 66 Shelbys because it is one of only about 230 automatic non-Hertz cars produced.

When I rebuilt the original motor and balanced it, I had a flywheel and clutch assembly balanced for it at the same time as I had the auto's new flex plate balanced. So it could be converted if one desired to, to a 4 speed. It is all INCLUDED IN THE SALE AS WELL AS ALL THE CORRECT PEDALS AND LINKAGES.

ENGINE: original matching numbers, all correct parts.  Holley 715 w/le mans bowls, cobra intake, original headers re-coated, dual point dist, hipo. heads, balancer, air cleaner, water pump, fuel pump and fuel lines, cooling fan and the engine compartment is fully detailed to original condition. ( hoses, belts, decals, paint ).

Drive Line: The car has a rebuilt hi po tranny, the orig. rear end with 3.50 gears; but I do have a 3.89 Detroit locker 3rd member built and ready to install if you wanted to change it. All the wheel and axel bearings and seals are new.

BODY--All the sheet metal is original with correct date codes; no rust or bondo. The front racing apron is after market, and I don’t have the original parts for that. The car has original uncut floors.

UNDERCARRIGE--- suspension; ALL NEW CONTROL ARMMS W/ BALL JOINTS , bushings, and Koni shocks all around. The front end has  the 1’ lowered front end, and the rear has had a lowering block installed above the rear springs to lower it too. Brake hoses and brakes assy.'s have all been rebuilt. The front brakes are all S/S from S/S Brake Co. and it has synthetic. brake fluid in the system as well as semi metallic pads.

INTERIOR--The dash has been replaced as well as the carpet and head liner,  but the seats are original and in excellent condition; the car has the original seat belts and cobra tach. It also has the original steering wheel, almost all parts that were used were NOS

The car has about 250 miles since the eng. was rebuilt and runs real strong, overall there are 62k miles on it.

Nothing has been cut or done to permanently alter the car from original
