I Have owned this mustang for 19-20 years. About 14-15 years ago we rebuilt the 289 with new cam, Edelbrock intake and Holley 750 double pumper. I'm not sure what we were thinking with that large a carb but that's what we did. New oil and fuel pumps along with a tranny rebuild while the motor was out. Since then I probably haven't drove the car 1000 miles. I never got around to finishing the old girl. The brakes could use gone over, it needs a battery, and the tires are starting to crack in the sidewalls. The body is not great but it is not a complete rust bucket either. The paint is POOR and needs redone. I have come to realize that I have no time to dedicate to the project anymore.
The codes for the car show it started out as a wimbledon white 6 cylinder so if you're lookin for a #'s matching original project you are looking at the wrong car, but if you would like a solid start to having a nice classic car this this could be what you need. The milage reads 22792. I'm sure it is more like 122792.
