I am selling this car for a friend who has written the following description and details.
1970 Boss 302 Grabber Green, Shaker, full resto as new!
Outstanding and correct genuine 1970 Boss 302 in factory Grabber
Green. Painstaking full restoration including bare metal body and paint
restoration, complete drivetrain rebuild, all new and reconditioned
interior, trim, chrome, glass, etc. To see this car is to step back in
time; it's virtually showroom perfect without a ding, dent, scratch, or
smudge. All NOS Ford parts used wherever possible, down to the correct
NOS Carlite glass.
A very rare B2 among Bosses, this car came from the factory with
the beautiful Grabber Green paint finish, as well as the optional 3.91
Traction Lock Drag Pack rear axle (1 of 55), as well as the Shaker hood
and scoop. Additional factory options include the in-dash tachometer
and standard interior without center console. Other options rear
decklid spoiler, fold-down rear seat, and chrome Magnum 500 wheels.
The interior and exterior of the car are perfect. The undercarriage
and underhood areas are excellent. I would say this is a 96/97 point
car overall. Under 100 miles since the restoration was completed; car
is still as-new.
Mechanically rebuilt as well, including numbers-matching original engine drivetrain.
91K total original miles, under 100 on full restoration as detailed
above. Original and correct Holley carb, rev limiter, Carter X-series
fuel pump, etc... all the hard-to-find Boss stuff is still present.
Changes/mods are extremely minor and limited to an aftermarket stereo
with speakers in the trap door (car comes with another excellent trap
door if you choose to return to the stock radio), and the addition of a
full roller valvetrain during the rebuilt (solid roller cam, rockers,
etc) to accomodate today's less-protective oils.
Clear title in my name; no brands, leins, or other concerns. Car
is being represented as completely and accurately as possible, and
being sold as-is, where is.
In my opinion, my Boss is "the" car that could roll across the
auction block and bring the big money... it's got it all and it's
outstanding. Numbers-matching, original invoice, Certicard, build
sheet, Marti report, and buck tag.
