This auction is for my 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra CONVERTIBLE. 

It is candy-apple red [Laser Red] with a nice tan top.  The car is in excellent shape! 

This vehicle is equipped with just about every option Ford offered, it has all the bells and whistles.  Tan leather interior, which is original and very nice.  The seats are excellent with no rips or cracks. Everything works.  Optional Mach 460  sound system with CD, power windows, locks, power seat, tilt, etc. The drivers side interior door panel has a few nicks in it from the seat belt hitting it, not very noticeable.  See pictures. The factory SVT Cobra wheels are in great shape.

It has a 305 horsepower 4.6 liter 32 valve (4-valve per cylinder) V8, 5-speed Tremec manual transmission. Car has 74,000 original easily driven miles.  It runs, drives, and sounds great.

Always adult owned, I am the third owner, original owner was an older gentleman, second owner was very fastidious about the car, maintained it fanatically, and had it since 2002.  It has never been messed with or beat on by some inexperienced kid, which is how many of these cars wound up.  The car has never been driven in the winter either, and it shows.

Aside from a K&N air filter, the car is essentially stock.  Completely unadulterated and unmolested, is still even has the Mustang emblem in the grille. Most people put the aftermarket Cobra emblems in there, personally I think the original emblem looks better.

I have all the documentation for this car, including the original SVT paperwork and the dealer window sticker. This car is very well taken care of and regularly maintained. I just installed a brand new serpentine belt and alternator in it. The clutch and flywheel were replaced in August of 2006 by the previous owner due to a chattering sound, nothing actually failed or broke at the time.

This is a very nice vehicle that always gets lots of looks and positive comments.  One of the most fun cars I've ever owned, and I'm sure the next owner will feel the same.

As far as payment is concerned, a bank/cashiers check will be accepted in person upon pickup.  It will have to clear with the bank before I release the car to you.  I will also accept cash.  Sorry, no personal checks or anything like that.  I do not accept Paypal.
