This auction is for the person that would like to have a beautiful Bright Yellow Mustang convertible in their stable !! This is the 1966 Ford Mustang "C" code convertible which is the 289 cid V8 with an automatic transmission (C4). This car has factory Air conditioning, Styled steel wheels,  and  of course , one of the most desired options of the early mustangs, Deluxe interior , or as we call it in the hobby, "Pony" interior , which by the way, came factory in this car. This Mustang runs and drives great, tight front end, solid brakes, strong steering.  It has excellent road manners, doesn't pull , either on the freeway or upon braking. The trans shifts well and is sound. the tires , exhaust, radiator, water pump, and most of the mechanical have undergone a thorough inspection and check out fine. This car is from Texas, where the hot summers test the cooling system, and this pony runs cool.  Texas provenance also means a good solid body because of the mild winters thruout most of the state. This car has the quality body of Mustang convertibles that are selling for 10K more !! Rust is not an issue in this Mustang. There are a few chips and flaws in the older paint finish and I have adjusted the price for those items. The car has been repainted once before and it is straight and solid. The color has been changed from the factory Vintage Burgundy to the Bright Yellow. It sure stands out and turns heads wherever it roams.
