Vehicle History Report Summary for 1968 Ford Mustang GT 500
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
For all, "Eleanor" enthusiasts, this is the car to drive! This is a fully restored/customized 68' GT and has been "transformed" into the car that was made famous by, "Gone In 60 Seconds" The 68' Mustang GT was purchased in near factory form 3 years ago. We, (myself-the owner, and my team) then took on the long, tedious process of doing a full rotisserie restoration, as well as customizing to be like the car in the movie, as well as some extra cool features. Here are some of the many features that make this car stand out from many of the other vehicles like it: 1: 351 Windsor from FordRacing.com (475hp) 2: 4 speed "top loader" transmission 3: ACT performance clutch 4: Heidt's front suspension 5: 150 shot nitrous 6: Custom made polished, stainless exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers 7: Currie true Posi-rear 8: 4-wheel disc-brakes by Baer Brakes 9: Power windows, A/C, Tilt wheel 10: Full Carroll Shelby Gauge cluster 11: 8-point, custom made, Seat Bottom Height, Roll cage 12: Driver/passenger Corbeau Racing seats 13: Ford Racing traction bars 14: Fully customized audio/video system (too much to list) 15: DuPont primer/paint/clear products used for paint This car has been touched top to bottom, front to back. The car was sand blasted down to metal, full body work, primer, base, cleared, wet-sanded, and cleared again for high intensity gloss finish. The entire under-body of the car was spray-on bedliner treated. The entire interior of the car was covered in Dynamat. Most of the old plastic moldings in the car were refinished and rebuilt for less rattle and a seamless interior. The stereo was fully customized to the listener for "quality" not "quantity"(JL Audio subs, JL Audio Amps, Focal speakers, Alpine stereo, Alpine visor screens, Alpine amp) Stereo was custom fabricated to look like it is a part of the car. The car has over $250,000 in product, materials, and labor incested. I am asking for significantly less than what has been put into it. Garage kept. Driven around town ONLY. Cash, Wire-transfer, or Certified check, or PayPal are only types of payment accepted. This is a serious car for seriously interested customers/enthusiasts. I have full documentaion of restoration, as well as reciepts and photos upon request. There is much more description avaiable, simply ask.
