Description:
For sale is a 1989 Mustang GT with a 342ci stroker motor built by D&D Motorsports. The whole drivetrain is new on this car. Nothing is used. Just received fresh Corvette Velocity Yellow paint job about 2 months ago. The motor has around 2800 miles on it. The car is rust-free/rot-free. The car was undercoated with anti-rust spray. This car was originally an auto and the previous owner converted to 5-speed. I bought it as a shell and have put a whole new drivetrain. If you want a street car with some massive power, then this is the car for you. All parts have between 500-2800 miles on it. This car sounds like a monster with the huge cam yet it's tuned and streetable. Car was tuned by Real Speed in Long Island and put down 361HP to the wheels. That's over 440HP at the crank! Motor is built for nitrous so the option is available if anyone wants to go down that route. With the right combo, you can definately get more HP out of the top end. This car was built more for the road and show with some good power in mind. Has a clean title and never in any accidents. Feel free to carfax. The interior is probably 7/10. Exterior is 8/10. I have over $20K invested on this since Sep 08 on this car so far including parts and labor. Feel free to call me at: 347-510-1796 OR email me at: SHOOFFNYC@GMAIL.COM
I had posted on forums for $11K but the reserve is set for THOUSANDS LESS. So bid with confidence NOW!
Few things to mention:
* There is one scratch on the passenger side on the rear and I have touch-up paint which can be applied.
* There are some minor flaws in the paint but even from 3ft it's not noticable.
* The water temp gauge does not work. All other gauges including speedometer works JUST FINE.
* The dashboard light went out few weeks ago.(bad lights?)
* Power mirror switch sometimes works sometimes doesn't
* The horn is not hooked up(who needs it when your exhaust does the job?)
* The fuel gauge stopped working last month. I had put a new float and had it working for a while but now it's not reading.
* The moldings around the windshield and hatch window is missing.
Other than these minor issues, the car is tuned, stable, streetable and ready to burn some serious rubber while looking good at any car show. A serious head turner with this color combo.
Below is the rundown of the parts:
* The color is paint-matched Corvette Velocity Yellow with dual black racing stripes.
* Has projector headlights with purple HID.
* New weatherstripping kit from foxresto.
* Has new roofliner from foxresto
* Had also had been undercoated with anti-rust spray
* 141,xxx on Body but 2,800 on drivetrain
* Saleen Spoiler
* New FMS 28-spline differential
* Pro-Motion Cobra-spec T5 370HP capable.
* Clean carfax w/ no accident history
