1969 Mustang Sportsroof project car.Marti report reads as follows, 1969 Built at Dearborn, Sportsroof, 250 1-v, 37,593rd built, Acapulco blue paint, Light Kiwi vinyl standard bucket seats, built 12/16/68, DSO New Orleans district, 2.79 Standard axle ratio, Cruise-o-matic Transmission Air Conditioner- Selectaire. This car was a six cyl. originally but that is gone and because it was the big six it does have 5 lug wheels. I have a 1969 302 that goes with it along with a C-4 transmission. The engine is complete and even has the Air Conditioning pump bracket on it since the car does have factory Air. It and the transmission came with the car when I bought it and I was told they both run but I dont know for sure. The car is about 90% complete missing only passenger side fender, left rear quarter extention, hood,and valance pieces.The interior has been changed to black and it has 69 Mach-1 seats instead of standard buckets. The rear seat is NOT a fold down. All the the glass is in good condition and all the interior pieces are present and in good condition although some need repainting / recovering. Frame rails are solid front and back as are both shock towers. Torque boxes are solid on the outside but need tops or to be replaced. Both floor pans will need to be replaced but trunk transition is in good condition as well as rear torque boxes. Both quarters and outer fender wells are in need of repair or replacing but rocker panels are in good shape. Doors are in good shape rust wise but both have dents that could be repaired. The left front fender is in good shape and will require only light body work to be usable. Battery tray panel has received minor damage and will require replacing but all other inner front panels are in good shape.The top is in very good shape with no dents.This is a very restorable car and worth the time and cost to complete. I can do all the sheet metal work or a complete restoration for a reasonable cost if you wish but this auction is for the car as is. Please e-mail me for estimate or any other questions you have.
