This is a 1946 Ford ½ ton truck I am listing for my uncle.  It is located in Nauvoo, Alabama.  He bought it from an old man who used it on his farm and it was partially disassembled. He put it back together but cannot finish it due to health reasons.

 It has a rebuilt 49-53 style flathead engine and a 4-speed transmission.  The body is very solid and although the paint looks smooth in the pictures, it is severe orange peel.  As you can see in the pictures, the wiring that came with the truck was all the same color and it is not hooked up.  He does have the starter and distributor hooked up to a 12 volt battery with negative ground and it will crank and run fine and can be driven for a short distance.  It has a new glasspack and exhaust pipe.  It has all new wheel cylinders and the master cylinder was rebuilt but it is missing the original cap. It has a temporary one that works.  The tires are in great shape.  He has a bumper and some brackets that came with the truck but they did not fit.  The brackets MAY be correct but the bumper wrong.  They will be included.  The driver’s side glass is missing and the frame that goes around it was also.  The window regulator and crank are included though. The radiator developed a leak after it was installed and it will have to be repaired.  The clutch needs to be adjusted as it does not seem to release like it should. 

This truck would only take a little work to get on the road and be reliable.  It would not be hard to find the few parts it needs to finish it.  This truck will come with a bill of sale because Alabama did not issue titles back then.  I have tried to list everything it needs but if you have any questions call my uncle on his cell at 205-893-5626.  His name is Vester and he can answer your questions.  If you have trouble contacting him, then email me and I will pass along the info.  Thanks for looking and good luck !!!
