Please note: This car started life as a rust free 2 door sedan. It is now titled as a convertible. Drive anywhere, reliable 5.0 ford v8 with AOD automatic overdrive trans. (stock from low mile mustang ) Gennie shifter topped with schaefer beer tap shifter. I drive this car often and it gets 20-25 mpg. Never runs over 185 degrees due to new 4core copper radiator core and dual electric fans. Brand new engine turned aluminum dash with s/w wings gauges. way too much to list. With an original coat of paint it could look like an original. Hot rod flatz black and burnt orange urethane enamel with great pinstriping by east coast eddie. Full power top from 01 sunbird. There are so many subtle custom touches that people argue at shows if it is original or custom, and that is exactly how I planned. My only regret is that I didn't do an original color. Car is quiet at idle and cruising speed, but has a great loud, mean exhaust sound when you hit the gas. Disc brake front end, chevy drum rear with highway gears. Wild flamed exhaust tips set up for flame throwers. ( if you don't like em' I will gladly keep them ) New fuel tank with electric pump, New american autowire harness, edelbrock carb, HEI style distributor,. some might call it a rat rod, but it's more of a retro-custom. No heat or a/c. have original ford a/c compressor in car and ready to go. No side windows. was planning on zip out boat style curtains. You can drive this cross country, no problems. Car is located 30 miles east of New York City. Please look at picture of how it started to see how rust free this was to start with.
